Wow, I'm surprised I've never heard of such an important holiday. I worked for 3 years with a guy from India and his family did celebrate Christmas, but they did it more as a kind of Thanksgiving type thing. I think we need to make it a national holiday with time off. :-)

Ha, I had an Indian coworker awhile back when I was working shift work, great guy! It was always fascinating watching what unfolded when our shift relieved or was relieved by the shift that had a guy from Pakistan! Within minutes, they'd be screaming at each other, ready to come to blows, just from being in the same room. It was great :popcorn:
