if he claims that he is "still relevant", then the clintons have "got to him".

If it's a conservative tsunami, he'll talk about bi-partisanship and the need to cooperate, (meaning the gop must agree with him).  If it's anything less than that, then he'll claim that the people think his course is the right one and the gop must work with him.
