This is meant to be a short-lived "sticky;" if I don't get around to "unstickying" it by 8:00 a.m. central time, 7:00 a.m. mountain time, Tuesday, someone else please "unsticky" it.
I want to keep the decks cleared for action tomorrow, and the less "stickies" the better.....excepting for the handy-dandy "screen shot" and "primitives predict victory" threads.
Anyway.
Are we ready for tomorrow?
All set to watch the primitive meltdown on Skins's island?
I posted this elsewhere on conservativecave, but as a point of reference:
Republican gains in the House of Representatives
1894 130 seats picked up (two years after the Republican party was declared "dead")
1938 81 seats picked up (two years after the Republican party was declared "dead")
1872 63 seats picked up
1920 62 seats picked up
1914 62 seats picked up (two years after the Republican party was declared "dead")
1946 55 seats picked up
1994 54 seats picked up
1864 50 seats picked up
1966 47 seats picked up (two years after the Republican party was declared "dead")
1942 47 seats picked up
I could never find that post-2008-election campfire by Chief S itting Bull, in which the bird-smacking stoned red-faced primitive gloated that the Republican party was dead, gone forever, buried never to resurrect again.
This poll is hereby dedicated to Chief S itting Bull, the biggest loudmouth on Skins's island.

I am so freaking excited!!!!!!111111

I am too!!!!
The only regret I have is, I no longer live in NV so I can't help fire Dingy Harry.
I at least get to help Rubio get elected and get to help throw Alan Boyd out on his ass.
-
I am more excited for the nation, than I am for my state, but I am still excited. :cheersmate:
-
As long as I've been on these internet boards, I've yet to see Republican gains in Fed. elections. I am pumped.

There is a FREE election party at the Palazzo for Angle tomorrow night, but I'm not sure if they want my crazy toddler there. haha.
We MIGHT stop by for an hour to check it out. I don't know yet. Depends on my mood.

My niece is getting into babysitting (she's 13). I hope she cleans up tomorrow. :)

Rush was saying today it could be a month before we hear who the winner in Nevada is, are they talking about that at all in your State? and what are people's reactions to that? I think that leaves way too much room for voter fraud.
-
I am taking Nov 3 off, I am so ready.
I can't decide whether to go to work, and then vote, or vote and then go to work. I don't know if I can wait until after work!
So yes, I am ready to GO.
-
Dude. If you have a choice, go vote. It will make your day so much nicer.

Nope.
Voter fraud, yes. Winner should be announced tomorrow. Even if Reid or the unions rigged the machines, I strongly believe Angle is going to win. She owns all of northern Nevada from what I understand. Clark County is the only toss up. We have too many unions in the casinos here.
We shall see.
The machines at Galleria Mall were not "malfunctioning" by selecting Reid's name automatically. That's what a lot of people are claiming are happening at other polling locations. I'm not doubting it, it just didn't happen to us. But there are many people calling into our local talk radio show (even Democrats voting for Angle) saying their machines had Reid's name selected before they even had a chance to chose a name from the list.

This is gonna be fun. If someone has the Glenn Beck laugh loop from 2004 they should cue it up.
And the fun part about being a few hours ahead of you is that I get to see the beginning of the meltdown at the Island while y'all are still sleeping.
-
I am ready to wait to the last 15 seconds and try my best to vote for brown sniper style.
Jerry!
Jerry!
Jerry!

Amen. Tomorrow morning is going to be fun. :-)

Why do you hate your state so much?

I need to talk to my neighbor about the Chris Gibson victory party. Non-alcoholic for me, that is. I'm still debating whether or not to take tomorrow off. :bday:
Cavers, remember my o/u predictions--
10.5 in the Senate/114.5 in the House OVER on both
And one for my neighbors Karin and Carl--
7.5 for House pickups in NY OVER
(I think there's someone here from Brooklyn, too)
And, another for my neighbors--
5.5 for NYS Senate pickups UNDER but the Republicans take control of the NYS Senate

In looking for the post you mentioned I ran across something quite ironic posted by Dainbramaged 1/20/09:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=132&topic_id=8113016
The last part of his long screed is what seals it:
"Then while WE the People, are celebrating BY THE TENS OF MILLIONS at home and in Washington DC (you see, we are proud to be Americans, that's why we went to Washington in such numbers, while most of you sat home rubbing your hands together way back at the beginning of the Dark Age) we're taking this Country back, and hopefully with the elections in 2010, your Grand Old Pricks political party will be disassembled. You realize for at least four years, you are meaningless and we shall make this once again a great country to live in, work in, and raise a family in, not just make it a piggy bank for the wealthy few (which DIDN'T include any of you since you are spending your time here)a way to outsource and destroy our jobs, and to try and make us a Third-world country just to make you rich in this lifetime."
How delicious! Will DB be the first one to the razor blade stash tonight?

BSS, Godot Showed Up is also a New Yorker, as is Bowtied.
I voted before work, enjoyed every moment of it, but have no entertaining bouncy to tell. All was on the up and up. There would be no bouncy, because my village is quite Republican. There were no Dems on the Village Selectmen line. Never are.
Happy Election Day, everybody! I feel like it's Christmas.

I didn't get there yet. My wife did, because she has the day off. I'll get there after work.

Obviouslly, you man Revolution voted "Yay." Haven't voted yet, but since I can't drive, I'm waiting for the old man to get home. (my father) so we can go vote at the same time.
This day is going to be fun! :hyper:

Very ready!!! We've voted but unfortunately I don't think Andrews in NJ-1 can be shaken free -- Dale Glading (R) never even ran a single ad nor did Andrews spend any $ to keep his seat so obviously the dems have no worries about it. I'm really pulling for Jon Runyan in NJ-3 and I hope he throws a mean chop block on John Adler to take him out! BallyGrl -- any good races going on up in your district or those around you?

*waves* to the 9 lurkers*
Happy election day!

..and to make them feel right at home, Johnny and others give them the universal Obama "I WON" high sign.
