I thought I'd make this easy for everyone. A little early make-the-libs-crazier-than-the-shithouse-rats-they-already-are action.
Just so you know, you don't have to wait for the end of the show to vote; it may be possible to vote even earlier, but I know you can start voting by 9 pm Eastern Time, which is halfway through the show. So whether you watch or not, vote for Bristol, and make the libs' heads explode pre-election.

I like Jennifer Grey and Rick Fox.
I just can't vote for Bristol. And not because of her mother, but because she is terrible. I give her props for getting out there and trying hard though. She has no performing experience, and that has to be tough. She's come a long way.

Yes--she isn't good, I'll grant you that, and it's also true she's made some progress. But up until last night, my opinion is Rick Fox was the worst. I couldn't understand what the judges were seeing in him--he just walked around and posed as a pole for Cheryl Burke; occasionally he jumped.
I'll admit that, last night, she was the least good, or worst, but in the preceding weeks, IMO, Rick was always the worst. Last night he suddenly started moving some and actually had some footwork.
But, well, we conservatives are voting for her with mischief in mind, somewhat for the fun of it. She had the 3rd highest phone vote total last night according to dialidol:

If there wasn't so much fun in voting for her--from my perspective--I'd be voting for Grey, tantrums and all. She's still the best there. Much smoother than Brandy.

Grey is making me not like her because of her whining. I understand she is older than everyone else there, and she's had some health issues, but dammit, suck it up and leave the tears at home.
I like Fox mainly for his personality. Oh, and he's cute!! ;)

Ah, the eye candy factor! Well, no question the guy has movie star good looks.
I know--I SO wanted Jen Grey to stop blubbering. Plus I just don't believe it's real. Oh, her emotions are no doubt real; but after all, she's an actress, she must know how to turn on the waterworks when she needs to (and she KNOWS when she's being taped), and I'll admit that's annoying. But I thought she knocked it out of the park last night (sorry Rangers fans!), and I also thought she was better than Brandy.
If we believe dialidol, Kurt's probably going home.
I thought Kyle was much better than he'd been, last night; his frame was right, and he didn't have that sort of effeminate prancing style he had before.
I can't believe I'm going on like this about DWTS. Mrs. Godot has corrupted me thoroughly. What's next, Lifetime movies?! :P

Haha!! I think its funny!
Kurt should go. I do like him, but he's just not good. He's been one of the worst athletes they've had on there.
And yeah, the crying and moaning from Jennifer has to stop. I can not stand it AT ALL. It makes her look like a big fat baby. No one else is doing all that crying. I feel sorry for Derek when she does that crap.

You people actually watch that show??

You people actually watch that show??
Sometimes. I am not a huge fan of the show, but sometimes when channel surfing, I stop and watch.

You people actually watch that show??
Yes, Only the last 4 seasons. I know, I can't believe it happened, but I started watching it in the interests of marital comity and other things preceded by the adjective marital. My wife and I agree about very little on tv. So I watched this with her after ignoring it for yers, and made myself get interested in spite of myself. I suppose you could say I'm the reverse of the wife who takes and interest in her husband's sports team obsession to share an interest, the winds up half a fan herself.

Only if the girls are in skimpy outfits.

NICE touch with the Skype link, guys. Bravo! :cheersmate:

I've never seen the show. :whistling: And don't plan to either. Give me a good WWII documentary or Pawn Stars any day over that stuff. But to each his own I guess.

Well, you'd be surprised. First, it IS an exhibition of ballorrom dancing. That alone is unusual for mass-market tv--attention to what would have once been considered "old fogie stuff." Plus, the judges have become a pretty good comedy act all by themselves. Carrie Ann make funny noises, Bruno makes funny faces and has all these ridiculous flowery metaphors, plus does great physical comedy with his hip stuff, standing up; Len is Mr. Curmudgeonly, and is the "long-sufferer" for Bruno, and both Bruno and Carrie Ann are the "long-sufferers" for Len...and seeing Len's and Bruno's reactions to each other is priceless and really hysterical. Half the show is the comedy act that the judges have developed---they each have great schtick, and have meshed well with each other. I'd bet money Soleil knowes exactly what I'm talking about.
