Oh my.
I saw this on "youtube," but of course didn't hear it. Apparently it's about 1.5 minutes into the tape.

Gay Activists Heckle at Obama Connecticut Rally
I understand the issues and discomfort with Obama, but can we just table the heckling of OUR OWN POLITICAL RALLIES until after Nov. elections? Why aren't these gay activist hecklers at the Sharon Angle rally? Or, maybe the Joe Miller rally? Why must we, as Democrats, always be part of a circular firing squad?

7. But, it's counter productive to their wants to heckle Democrats.
These gay/HIV activists are NO DIFFERENT from the dumbass white trash Christian conservative construction worker making a minimum wage who continues to vote for Republicans. Both are working against their better interests.

40. Progressives really shouldn't refer to gay people such as myself as "these people"
Sometimes, when I come here, I feel rather alientated...like I don't belong here.
The rest of the campfire is normals versus gays.

You will never ever begin to grasp what a non selfish, non bitter, non envious person understands what their better interests are.
I will give you a clue though how it works...
You manage to get your "NoodleyAppendage" up a fellow homosexuals dirt road and contract a lethal disease that will inevitably kill you but over a long time and with a lot of my money spent trying to stop it...it is in my better interest to not spend that for the choice you made.
How do you like it put in that perspective?
The point being what is in my best interest may be at your sacrifice so that whole government of the individual concept is a disaster.
You will never grasp it DUmbass because you never matured beyond a grade school mentality but the country has once again found its bearings and is poised to once again move forward as one nation, not your personal line of credit.

This is a public announcement.

I wonder if he could dodge it.

How did they "pro-create" to have their children?!)

I actually prefer the gay people in that thread basically calling out the white, straight faux progressives.

26. Of course I am. Always.
For my sister and for all the LGBT people in our country. I'm glad you notice my concern and hope you take it to heart.
They're so insensitive, they always forget to mention "intersex" and "questioning" people to the letters.

... if I were gay I would be pissed. Just wish they would wait till after the election. At least the Dems are giving lip service to gay issues.

The poor necrophiliacs get the short end of the stick there at the DUmp too don't they?
We know for a fact they also support NAMBLA. Where's their letters??

Just curious, has there ever been a NAMBLA thread at DU at all?

Haha Bally. I read that thread. So confusing for even the dummies!

There's that "voting against our own best interest" thing again. And then they have the nerve to call us the selfish greedy ones? Assuming that this is true, in the case of social conservatives, it would be a matter of voting for what we believe to be the right and ethical thing even if it might be against our short-term narrow interests. Dummies won't understand that, with all their "gimmee" special interest "what's in it for me" voters-the ones they bribe with handouts amd entitlements, the ones who justify murder of their children because it "inconveniences" them, the minority voting group of gays who call married couples with children "breeders" because they don't understand anything which would detract from their immediate physical gratification and their whole lives and identities revolve around a form of perverted sex.
So it all depends on whether you hold their narrow definition of "best self interest" or not. I feel sorry for their kids, never having the security in childhood of traditional loving parents who know kids want parents, and boundaries, not more screwed-up peers. They can find those at school, and don't have to be embarassed that their parents won't grow up.

I heard about this earlier and coincidentally, George Bush spent $19 billion from 2004 through 2008 on worldwide AIDS funding; Obama has spent $366 million as of June 2010.
Wow, who cares about "these people" now?

Just as an aside here: I could never understand how the... catcher I guess would be the term... gets any enjoyment out of gay sex. I had a colonoscopy back in April and they had to jack me up with meds 3 times before I quit cussing the doc.
You could have cut my leg off after the third time they hit me with the meds and I would not have have cared. It took that amount of meds before I could let them stick something up my ass. That did not feel good at all... let alone get any enjoyment, sexual or otherwise, out of it.
I just don't understand it. :mental:

There were some a few years back. None since I've been here that i remember...but there were a handful we found when I was at CU.

But they should... what... embrace those who consider them to be nothing more than "dumbass white trash Christian conservative construction worker making a minimum wage?" No doubt they want to be a part of a group that belives they're too stupid to know what's good for them. Who wouldn't?
You just keep believing that, primitive.

A belief that you know the "better interests" of people you've never met is a delusion. But their world is formed from delusions anyway so you cannot reason with them.

I got into a huge fight with someone on RightNation years ago for saying there was basically nothing wrong with NAMBLA. Nothing has ever made my head explode like that before or since.
-
I never posted on RN. But if that's what they promote, then I'll have nothing to do with them.

You beat me to it. In the video Blammo claims "the other side" isn't giving anything to AIDS research. What a f*%$ing lying POS this guy is.

You'd think gay people would appreciate that!
On a serious note, mouthing pretty words does little to further their agenda. As usual, dems are all hat and no cowboy. Were they to actually pass their agenda they'd lose one of their key issues and thus potentially lose a voting block that no longer needed them. And they'd have to stop using "the right" as an enemy. Gay people are smarter and more engaged than many of their other little victim groups. Perhaps they're starting to figure out their "best interest" doesn't lie with empty promises and straw man enemies. That log cabin just might need a few more rooms.

Why would they heckle Sharron Angle? BTW, her name has two "R"s DUmmy.
Sharron Angle isn't even in office. Why heckler her? She can't really help you out. Not until January 2011.

They said that NAMBLA was persecuted for feelings that they couldn't help. Also that the pervs that Perverted Justice helped bust on Chris Hansen's show were entrapped.

Yeah, I call bullshit on that, likely you do as well. They couldn't help molesting young boys? In that case, those perverted gheys need to be locked away. I bet that would change their mind set. :evillaugh:
