A woman has been arrested and 24 more suspect packages have been seized in Yemen after two parcel bombs were discovered on planes in Britain and Dubai.
The woman detained is thought to be involved in sending the two explosive packages to the US, authorities said.
Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh said the US and United Arab Emirates provided him with information that identified the woman as a suspect.
He said security forces had surrounded a house in the Yemen capital San'a that was believed to be holding the woman.
Officials said she was arrested as part of the hunt for a number of suspects believed to have used forged documents and ID cards that played a role in the plot.
It comes as Yemeni authorities have seized dozens more suspect parcels in San'a.

The twit probably put her return mailing address on the packages.

That's sad when the 2 other Countries targeted have to tell the president of Yemen about/who the suspect is.

In all fairness - If the Yemeni authorities were to say "Go round up the usual suspects" , there would be a helluva long line.

Not that it would matter. The Yemenis are masters at "catch and release".
