Totally not a bouncy, but could have the potential if I were a DUmp monkey.
We had a free buffet voucher at The Feast at Sunset Station, so we decided to hit the place up this evening.
I asked the chef for some turkey and an older gentlemen was next to me and said, "No turkey today, that's for Tuesday when we vote those bums out."
Okay, I have no idea what turkey has to do with voting the bums out of Washington. Can someone help me? Maybe he had a few drinks. He had balls to say that to me considering he had no idea where I stood politically. All I did was smile and agree with him.

Not sure how old you are, but older people used the word "turkey" instead of more abrasive words. My grandparents used to say it instead of a**hole or other such words. He probably saw a young lady and didn't want to curse, yet still wanted to get his message across. I actually miss that sort of public respect. Those days are dying with the "greatest generation".

Could be. Or maybe he's a regular and knows what's on the menu on Tuesdays. :-)

I'm 27.
Never heard anyone use the word "turkey" in a bad way. Just a yummy, delicious food which eventually makes you very sleepy.
-
I have heard (and used) "turkey" to mean something like an idiot or a fool. It's not an uncommon saying in this area...or, at least, it didn't used to be uncommon.

I hear ya. Comedy was real comedy and not getting a laugh at someone else expense.
