Military jets are escorting a commercial passenger jet to JFK airport in New York.
The flight, which contains a package from Yemen, was escorted by Canadian F-18s to the the U.S. border and has since been picked up by two American F-15s.
An FBI official told Reuters there was no known threat associated with the flight.
Federal authorities were stepping up aviation security precautions after cargo planes were grounded at two U.S. airports in response to suspicious packages that may have been part of a "dry run" for a future Al Qaeda plot.

WTF is going on?
It's being reported that a commercial passenger airliner is being escorted into JFK by 2 F-15's. Is there some attempt going on to mess with our elections, or is it Halloween pranks?

They are saying on FNC that it has a box/boxes from the same origination point in Yemen as the ones found in the UPS transport system.

They are reporting that the only reason this jet was escorted in was because there was a package from Yemen on it! Sounds like profiling to me? Poor Juan, someone should tell him the FBI is looking for a few good men.

WTF indeed.
If you ask me the terrorists probably think they have to speed things up since Republicans are about to take control of congress again and start treating terrorism seriously...gotta blow stuff up while the Dems are still in charge! LOL!
Then again what better way to screw up holiday package delivery than to have something like this cause extra security measures (read delays in package delivery) just before the start of the busy shopping season.

I worked at the Bulk Mail Center, separating packages during the Anthrax scare in 01, during the holidays. It was pretty quiet.
