Outgoing Florida governor and turncoat backstabber Charlie Crist needs to GO! God willing, after Tuesday his already worthless political career will be OVER and we won't have to bother with him again. Thursday, Crist attacked Marco Rubio, characterizing him as a Right Wing extremist and a radical for being against the judicial travesty known as Roe v. Wade and for opposing the socialized medicine scheme of the Obamunist regime! Charlie, you two-faced bastard of a sore loser who gives mercenaries a bad name, GO AWAY! Go back to St. Pete, work on your tan, cruise the gay bars or whatever else you do in your free time!

Crist USED TO try posing himself as a ProLifer. Now he's calling Marco Rubio a Right Wing extremist because he wants Roe v. Wade to be struck down. Crist is a two-faced Obamunist mutt. Were he to somehow win the US Senate seat that, God willing, Marco Rubio will win Tuesday, I guaranTEE you that Crist will OFFICIALLY switch to DemocRAT by the time the new Congress is seated in January!

he certainly needs to go after he participated in that underhanded little plan that the white house hatched to use the Clenis to try to convince meeks to drop out of the race and endorse crist. any republican that consorts with this white house or clinton (much less both at the same time) without a crucifix and wolfbane should be drawn and quartered.
and it's amazing that this guy was on the short list of mccain's vice presidential picks.

most politicians are shallow, self absorbed, and opportunistic pieces of slime. I'm generally okay with that. but this guy is off the charts. there is no way you can claim to be a reagan republican one year, and do the things that he has done the next. at least not without severe head trauma or a lobotomy.

Charlie's political career is over after this election. He can't win a GOP primary again and a 3rd party run is futile. He knows that, he's just in denial.

And he's the most obvious, egregious example of the sort! Almost cartoonish, really. Couple years ago, I read a glowing article about him in (I think) National Review. When he lost the primary, he changed his spots overnight and became a barking moonbat.
And they wonder why we think politicians can't be trusted with anything. What is so hard about "mean what you say and say what you mean?" If the electorate doesn't like it, get over it, move on and do something else for a living. You weren't meant to be.

I saw him on Greta van Susteren (I think) where he was deriding Rubio. So many lies were spewing from this loser's mouth I wanted to kick in the TV.

you know, I consider myself to be a jaded old cynic, but I never really thought there was much to the RINO argument. different kinds of republicans, different views, big tent, & etc. I thought that what was important was unity within the party.
ONE thing that the tea party movement has done has been to adjust the thinking of this mainstream republican. Thank GOD for the tea partiers. they have brought the GOP back to it's roots.

I hope Crist gets SMASHED in this election. The only good thing about him is he's caused quite a dustup at DU, with Skinner allowing 3rd party candidate cheering.

Living in FL, I can tell you that Crist is a political opportunist who will say and do whatever it takes to get elected. About a year ago he was still leading in the polls as a Republican and he was quoted in the Tampa paper saying, "I need to appear to be more conservative" and he changed his stance and then came out in support of offshore drilling. Any thoughts, or doubts I might have had about Rubio went away with that statement. How the hell is a voter to decide just what a guy stands for? Does he appear to be conservative, then once elected change his spots once again?
That was the beginning of the end for Crist, he has flip flopped on issues to the point he makes John Kerry look sane.
To me Crist is a pretty boy who thought he would be governor, then senator and then president and never really understood that you have to actually stand for something, have some core values and principles that you live buy. Instead he comes off like a Florida gecco, changing colors every time the sun moves behind a cloud.

Marco Rubio, the man whose gonna take down Crist this tuesday, got my attention a year or so ago when someone sent me a clip of him giving his eloquent farewell address (without a teleprompter! )to the Florida House of Representatives where he served as Speaker. What most impressed me was when he said "God is real". Imagine that! A politician who has the audacity to use the name of "God" in a government building! He says it and goes on about God at 5:15 in this video.
Just take a few minutes to listen to this guy speak WITHOUT A TELEPROMPTER!.
There's also rumors that he may be on then next GOP ticket for Vice President in 2012. I had the pleasure of meeting him when he was here giving a speach. He's a class act. :cheersmate:

Hi,
We are headed down to Miami Tuesday as we were invited to go to the hotel (along with several hundred, if not thousand others) by the Rubio group. I met Marco in Lakeland a year ago and he really seems like the real deal to me. I did some stuff for him early on and he was answering his emails fairly regularly until I am sure he got overwhelmed.
Last time I saw him he spoke at our gun show here in Lakeland. I had sent him some statistics and I said hello and first thing he said was thanks for sending me the statistics he was trying to figure out how to work it into his speech.....
Really looking forward to Tuesday night.

Marco is the real deal. I have a spooky ability to look a man in his eyes, shake his hand and speak with him for a few moments and tell whether he's a B.S. artist or an honest man. Marco falls into the latter category.
