Tammy Bruce writes at The Guardian that conservatives are more tolerating of her homosexuality than the left is tolerant of her conservativism.
Then I saw this name in the reader comments:

The huge irony is liberals spend every ounce of energy promoting the notion that they are the banner carriers of individualism and personal freedom, yet the hammer comes down on anyone who dares not to conform to, or who dissents even in part from, the liberal agenda.
It is kind of hypocritical the way liberals don't tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. I mean either you're tolerant or you're not right?
[W]hile many conservatives are people of faith and their religion promotes a very different point of view than mine on homosexuality (and a few other things!), I have found conservatives to be more tolerant, more curious and more understanding of those who are different to them than I ever did when ensconced in US liberal leadership.
So you like hanging out with conservatives (and being treated as a curiosity). What you do with your free time is your own business. This is irrelevant to whether or not you support conservative political positions. Are you against gay marriage? Are you in favour of 'Don't ask, don't tell'? I think the St Peter's Square is rather pretty (and the Pope's clothes aren't bad either). Does this make me a Catholic?

If this is the same donnachaih (yes, I see the addition of the "i") as found on DU she isn't this cordial. Methinks she's only this measured because A) it's not confined to the hive and B) the article is about civility so out comes the holier-than-thou routine.
Maybe if we could find some of her loonier posts and add them to the article's comments...

You do have to give it to DUmmie Donna for making the writer's case for her...completely contrary to DumbDonna's apparent intent, of course!
:lmao:

Yep, donks/liberals/progressives/socialists are all about diversity as long as everyone thinks the same.
