Gay voters angry at Democrats could sway election

CHICAGO – Kate Coatar is seriously considering voting for Green Party candidates instead of Democrats, whom she normally supports. James Wyatt won't cast a ballot at all because he no longer trusts anyone to fight for causes important to him.
If Democratic candidates are counting on long-standing support from gay voters to help stave off big losses on Nov. 2, they could be in for a surprise.
Across the country, activists say gay voters are angry — at the lack of progress on issues from eliminating employment discrimination to uncertainty over serving in the military to the economy — and some are choosing to sit out this election or look for other candidates.

Looks like the Democrats are even in more trouble with gays less likely to vote for them.

I will periodically look over hillbuzz.org - a former PUMA site run by Chicago area gays.
And they are made as hornets at the Democrats, The Obamas, and CHicago style politics.
At this point they are all about the Tea Party, & they love most if not all of the Tea Party backed women. So, I have to agree with this article, as I have been quietly watching this phenomenon brew for the last 18 months. Many gays are no longer reliable Democrats.

I don't know how "gays" came to be called that. I've never met a cheery one. Always angry and stomping about something. And why do they tell me what their preferences are anyway.

Gay voters getting angry? OOOoooo! THAT must be scary!

What are they upset about, they're getting exactly the same treatment as other fiercely-loyal core Democrat constituencies, like Blacks, Mexicans, bubblehead Lib women who vote with their ovaries, and unions: Wildly-over-the-top totally-impossible over-promises, a few symbolic appointments, lax-to-nonexistent enforcement of any laws that actually cut against them (If any), a lot of glad-handing (Or reach-arounds in this case), and otherwise four more years of being the embarrassing senile relative locked away upstairs whenever company comes to call.
Why would they be upset about that? It's the same deal the Dems give all their other loyal followers.

Miskie, I have the hillbuzz guys bookmarked, and make it one of my morning "must-reads."
I want to say that one of the reasons I'm a conservative is the fact that many of us disagree on the issue of homosexuality, yet I have NEVER seen us resort to the same sort of personal atacks upon one another that you tend to find in libtard circles when one or more people "stray off the reservatrion," or otherwise dare to utter a contrary viewpoint.
Having said that, I happened upon the hillbuzz.org site after being referred to the highly-publicized article they wrote on the day The Mocha Messiah took office, (http://hillbuzz.org/2009/01/20/goodbye-and-thank-you-george-w-bush/) thanking President Bush for his service to the country. That article, along with another article they wrote after the Ft. Hood terrorist attack (http://hillbuzz.org/2009/11/10/thank-you-former-president-george-w-bush-and-former-first-lady-laura-bush/) saw them being cast out of the libtard/progressive camp as heretics. I highly suggest people read both, regardless of where they stand on the homosexual issue. I've rarely seen such a public repudiation of liberalism as the hillbuzz boys demonstrated with these articles. Very well written, exceptionally moving, and indicative of the sort of intellectual honesty that comes with a true conservative epiphany.
And while I'm at it, I'd also recommend GayPatriot.net, (http://www.gaypatriot.net/) which is unquestionably the most influential gay conservative blog in the country. The blog's founder, Bruce Carroll, used to work for my mom, and is one of the most intelligent conservative voices out there, although he, llike me, tends to drift into sheer rage sometimes at the unmitigated stupidity of liberals. He's also a contributor to Breitbart's "Big" blogs.
