Illinois....WTF????
Another poll came out today showing that Giannoulias is still trailing Kirk by 2 points. WHAT IS THE DEAL???? Illinois has been a reliably blue state for quite some time, plus it's Obama's home state!
Can't Jesse Jackson go to Chicago and rally African-Americans to get out and vote? Come on, Democrats! WE HAVE TO KEEP THIS SEAT!!!

Not many replies, but Illinois is my homestate. What could be worse for the Dems than losing Dead Ted's old seat? Losing Robert KKK's seat. What's worse than that ? Losing Obama's briefly held seat from Illinois. :evillaugh:

And no link, but a lot of hand wringing and the usual "WTF"
Another one to add to ignore. Geesh.
Hear no truth, see, no truth and speak no truth.

3. In the next week
both Clinton and Obama will be here. I think we'll quickly see the numbers change.
Crossroads has saturated the airwaves with lies about Giannoulias.
Lies? Not very. Michelle has already shown her booty in Chicago and it didn't help. :)

4. You'd be surprised
at how hard fought some of the "reliably" blue states actually are. I know many think of Michigan that way but in many cases it is a pretty close, hard fought battle. We can't really take many of the reliably blue states for granted.

Yeah, probably for the opposite outcome you wish. Have you seen the imposter's record so far?! :lmao: :-)

They need to send Biden there.
He won't help the campaign any, but at least he'll be entertaining. :-)

The deal, DUmmie, is that the combination of crooked banker, scion of an Italian crime family, and Chicago machine politician is just too much even for a lot of the Dems in Illinois to take.

Yeah but there's still a buttload of dead/acorn voters in Shitcago that don't care about issues, records or politics in general. They just care there's a D.

And both of those punks are gonna make the same mistake the Democrat Party always does...
Pretend that the city of Chicago represents the entire state of Illinois, instead of recognize that the rest of the state regards the city as some sort of festering sewer, populated by nothing but moral degenerates and governed by thugs.
Yeah, come to Chicago you ****sticks. Every town south of Joliet is looking for yet another reason to elect Kirk. :bird:

Kirk isn't exactly a strong conservative, but I'd much rather have him win than Alexi.
The NY Slimes gives the race this rating:
64% Chance of Republican win
FiveThirtyEight Forecast
Giannoulias Kirk
Projected Vote
Margin of Error: ± 5.4% 47.6% 49.3%
Chance of Winning Seat 36.1% 63.9%

Kirk may be somewhat of a RINO, but that's as close to a conservative as can get elected in Illinois. Unless Shitcago secedes it will stall that way.

This used to be Peter Fitzgerald's seat and he was as conservative as we are.

No shit, and he was screwed almost as blatantly as Jack Ryan was.

Fitzgerald never ran for a second term. But Jack Ryan was certainly screwed out of that Senate nomination in 2004.

Very true. I hear he fills in as Bozo the Clown every once in while for the neighborhood kids. :evillaugh:

That and the fact that "Ryan" is not the name to have if you're a Republican there.
