Hello all!  I'm a middle aged female MD from Southern Cal.  Basically a libertarian sort of conservative with the exception that I am more pro military intervention than your usual libertarian (being a military brat will do that to you I suppose.)

I'd like to post, but I hate your default avatar.  I must get a new one before I post, lol.

Welcome to Conservative Cave  :-)

You mentioned wanting to change your avatar. To do that, click on Profile at the top right of the web page. On the left, there is a menu that says Modify Profile. Click on Forum Profile Information and you will see an option to select one of the pre-existing avatars or upload your own.

Welcome!   :cheersmate:  That was my first question too - getting rid of that avatar.

Attero Dominatus gave instructions in this thread.  Try it out and if you have any problem, post back and someone will help!
