I'm Wonkish1 and I'm from the Midwest, but I travel all over for work(surprisingly to a lot of districts that are up for grabs right now). I have decided to get a little more involved by opening up a lot of ideas I've had for political websites. I've been to busy to spend the time building them myself. Nor is managing a political website what I want to do as a even a side job. So I'm starting a process of handing over all these ideas to someone that will turn them into reality. Therefore, I've created a series called "Strategy Sessions" for everybody to come on and add their ideas, brainstorm, and hopefully inspire someone to develop the idea into a reality.
Personally, I've always been described as a "idea man", wonkish type(hence the name), and a good political handicapper. All the traits that would make me good as a professional in the business, but I decided I have a soul and don't want to do that. Otherwise, my calling is in finance.
Hope you guys find my series useful.
Best

Lots of spammers, trolls and "true" conservatives (to learn us all) have been wandering through this election season so no offense intended, just a wary eye.
That is pretty customary at political sites.
There are lots of threads here so please also weigh in on those.
What is your basic political outlook?

Well political outlook is a little vague. I'm guessing your asking what type of political beliefs I have.
Well I'm primarily a fiscal conservative. Well there is the obvious desire to see the economy improve and spending to brought in check. In terms of the economy I'm the biggest supporter of corporate tax cuts but there really is no such thing as a bad tax cut for the others. In terms of spending I prefer a balanced budget amendment and breaking up the budget into pieces so that cutting becomes easier.
My other 2 pet issues are social security and education. Getting private accounts and education vouchers are really important to me. I also study healthcare delivery systems as a hobby so I have a whole list of proposals to make our healthcare system even more free market based than it even was before that piece of excrement bill ever got passed.
If you want the nutshell, I'm probably most like congressman paul ryan.

Let me guess... you're in sales.

Why do you say that? Actually no, finance.

Paul Ryan's a good guy. Too bad nobody listened to him when he ripped apart the bailouts, TARP, and the rest of the pile of shit that Lord Zero created.
