Does DU have a comprehensive bullying policy? (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=437x254)
Does DU have a comprehensive bullying policy? If so can you expand on it and how to bring attention to posters who are either bullying a poster or a minority?
What kind of idiot is concerned about a "bullying policy" on a discussion board? Grow a ****ing pair, idiot. :loser:

1. Well
We have a series of rules to set limits on what is acceptable and unacceptable conduct which includes dealing with personal attacks, bigotry, stalking behavior, etc. We have moderators who do their best to enforce these rules and if you think someone is breaking the rules we encourage you to use the alert function, or email an administrator if you feel the issue has not been addressed to your satisfaction. We have also provided the membership with tools that allow them to ignore other members, block private messages, hide threads, etc. But we don't have anything that we call a "comprehensive bullying policy." We believe that the rules we have in place should be comprehensive enough to cover such behavior.

I'd love to know their definition of bigotry because anti-Christian posts and anti-white male and Republican female posts are allowed to flourish, as are posts regarding black and hispanic Republicans.

Now, now, you sarcastic bastards, it turns out DU does have a comprehensive bullying policy, which is elegant in its simplicity: 'Bobo the Hobo is allowed to beat up anyone she wants.'

exactly. my first thought as well.
someone that is bullied on a discussion board probably needs therapy because of the chick's voice in their car; "fasten seat belt" is just so relentless and demanding.

It's probably a good thing that the Dummies don't have to deal with this guy.

Does DU have a comprehensive bullying policy?
Lord Marblehead should at least have given him an accurate answer. As typical, the only true way to get an answer to the questions at Skin's island is to come here and hear our answers.
The answer is: Yes, there is a bullying policy. The 100% Dear Leader worshippers can bully the 99% Dear Leader worshippers all they want, and the 99% Dear Leader worshippers can sit there and take it or leave.
Glad I could help.
