How many recall the eight years of George W. Bush’s two terms in office during which he was constantly derided as being too dumb to be president? He was deemed “a frat boy†and yet Bush had graduated from Yale University and went onto to secure a master’s degree from Harvard Business School. When his grades were compared to Sen. John Kerry during his campaign for reelection, it turned out he had higher scores.
We can’t compare Barack Obama’s grades to Bush or anyone else because they, along with his birth certificate, and indicators of his scholastic achievements have been hidden from public review.
This is not, however, a defense of Bush. This is about a question that millions of Americans are beginning to ask. Is Obama just a moron?
When I use the term, it should be noted that we have had presidents in the past who had impressive scholastic records, but who still turned out to be dumber than your average pea-picker and ridge-runner.

I'm not sure there is that hard of a connection. clinton was a rhodes scholar, and other than "keep power" and "I want oral sex", the man didn't have a thought in his head. but even various liberal strongholds and the MSM are whispering that obama is "in over his head".

Correction, Clinton was chosen to attend Oxford through the Rhodes Scholar program but didn't graduate and was actually asked to leave before his second term. So Mr. Clinton can not actually be called a Rhodes Scholar though his supports continue to call him that and he makes no effort to correct the record.
Why was asked to not return? Part of it was his lack of attendance, (he went to Moscow to march against America's involvement in the Vietnam war and his grades suffered).
There was also allegations that he raped a co-ed and he was given a chance to leave so as to not bring disgrace to the program.

I honestly didn't know that. thank you for the information. :cheersmate: so, he was essentially kicked out? the rape part is unsurprising. that's the fourth or fifth allegation of rape against the clenis that is hanging out there.
the man is the luckiest creature on the face of the earth just for avoiding prison, much less spending two terms as president.

Everything I've read about Zero's academic "performance" suggests that he was, in a word, a non-entity. He was unremarkable (okay, two words.)
As president of the Harvard Law Review, he was simply not around all that much. That's evidenced by this:

Law reviews, which are edited by students, play a double role at law schools, providing a chance for students to improve their legal research and writing, and at the same time offering judges and scholars a forum for new legal arguments. The Harvard Law Review is generally considered the most widely cited of the student law reviews.
On his goals in his new post, Mr. Obama said: ''I personally am interested in pushing a strong minority perspective. I'm fairly opinionated about this. But as president of the law review, I have a limited role as only first among equals.''
Therefore, Mr. Obama said, he would concentrate on making the review a ''forum for debate,'' bringing in new writers and pushing for livelier, more accessible writing.
Translation: I ain't gonna do squat but take the credit for being the "first among equals." :whatever:
And he set out to demonstrate his laziness.
Here's another interesting followup as to his overall performance, as evidenced by the typical fallout for being elected as president of the Harvard Law Review:
For what it's worth, a quick look at volume 104 of the Harvard Law Review suggests that not surprisingly given the genre, Obama didn't succeed in publishing "livelier, more accessible writing." But with regard to "new writers," the extremely prestigious Supreme Court term Foreword that year was written by Robin West, now of Georgetown, but who was then a professor at University of Maryland. Prof. West, moreover, didn't have the typical pedigree, having graduated from University Maryland Law School (yes, in theory completely irrelevant to her credentials to write the Foreword, but if I know my elite law review editors, something that gave many of them significant pause.) More typically, the Review invited Guido Calabresi (dean, Yale), Kathleen Sullivan (professor, Harvard), and Morton Horwitz (professor, Harvard) to write the next three years' Forewords. Prof. West is a very prolific, influential scholar, and was an inspired choice from outside the usual group of elite law school professors the HLR would consider.

Now, those who are all too quick to play the race card would suggest that Zero wasn't selected to write SCOTUS' Forewords because of his color.
I'd suggest that Zero wasn't selected because he didn't live up to the standards required as president of HLR. He was too comfortable having others do the work, preferring to "lead by non-example."

Barack Obama has never had to do an honest days' work in his life, and that is reflected in his scholastic record. That's why his grades and thesis haven't been released.

There was a discussion of another book talking about Jefferson’s relationship with his female slave. Ben Stein’s father was a law professor at the University of Virginia, so he dared to defend Marse Tom. He pointed out that the DNA showed he OR one of his male kin fathered the kids.
Of the four discussants one remained silent for the whole half hour. He was the black one. At the end he stated that he hadn’t read the book, and he had only come on the program for one reason, to point out that the female slave was under age and Jefferson was also a child molester.
Nobody showed any surprise. I doubt anybody expected him to read the book.
Back when Jessie Jackson became a candidate for the Democratic nomination and the first debate was coming on, the other candidates OPENLY expressed their concern that if they came on strong they might make a complete fool of him.

Well, let's see, in my sociology text it was defined as promotion or favoritism of one race over another through legal discrimination, economic means, or culturally sanctioned beliefs which results in denial of equal opportunity or denial of basic human rights.
So yeah, Stormfront falls into that category, as does MEcHa, the Black Panthers, the Klan, et al.
