It sounds suspiciously like "We really don't have any damned idea WTF happened before this point right here, because it's impossible if Einstein was right."

Are you speaking of the curved universe theory by any chance?

If the big bang theory is correct then what was here before the bang and what set it off in the first place.  Our universe is a mighty big place and we believe there are uncountable other universes out there, where ever.  Did they all come to being with a big bang, or just ours??
