Title: Tea

How do you like tea sweet or unsweet? Flavored or regular

Love tea!!

Hot tea. Herbal. With a half pack of Splenda if anything. Particularly like Orange Spice or Apple Cinnamon.
Particularly like Orange Spice with a shot of Triple Sec, creme fraiche and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Rarely drink iced tea, though I really like Arby's blackberry unsweet tea.

Used to drink a lit of iced tea....but after 3 lumpectomies, I was told to stay away from the tannin as much as possible, and it isn't as bad in the herbal teas.  :(

The best cup of tea I've ever had was made by my friend's Irish husband.  I don't know what he did, but something about the ratio to the milk, sugar, and tea was just perfect!

I like tea in general, but I tend to drink more black tea than green tea, and herbal tea is usually just for when I want to relax, or when I want something warm with no caffeine.  Chai tea and Earl Grey are my favorite black teas.

When I discovered coffee was what turned my gut into a seething pit of lava - I switched over to tea.

Now I drink a few cups a day slightly sweet with milk.

Unsweetened  and passion fruit flavor (unsweetened).

Edited to add that I only drink ice tea.

If it's hot tea, it's unsweetened and no creamer of any kind. Normally, if I am drinking hot tea, I'm ill. As for iced tea, I prefer it sweetened, but I have to use an artificial sweetener. I will drink it either way.

Black tea I like sweetened with honey.  I also brew mine with fresh grated ginger and top it off with milk.

Green tea I prefer straight up.

Then I drink a variety of herbal teas.  Teas with a lot of mint or licorice I prefer unsweetened.  Teas that have some sort of fruit flavoring, like I Love Lemon or the high anti-oxidant grape/green tea mixes I like with honey.

I like all kinds of tea.

I saw some TV show where they were serving tea mixed with lemonade... they called it 'muddy water'.  It sounded tasty.

I really love hot tea when I'm in the mood for cozy comfort, and I can drink herbals or decaf at night without it keeping me awake .. Earl Grey with Bergamot, Blood Orange, Peppermint and if I'm feeling really fruity  :naughty: Black Cherry

I've been wondering what it tasted like. Since I'm a vodka drinker, I'm not sure that 70proof that tastes like iced tea would be a good idea.... :uhsure:

You cut the drink with half tea and half water. You can barely taste the vodka when drinking, but, you will feel it.

I haven't "grounded" myself from vodka. I have pretty much eliminated tequila though. Had one during the move when we stopped for dinner at the neighborhood Mexican place.....didn't even finish the first one.  I was bitchy enough without adding too much tequila into the "mood".... :innocent:

Oh well Deb, I didn't ground myself from vodka completely.  Just the flavored stuff.  Tequila and I agreed to disagree more than half my life ago.  I see no need to rekindle that relationship.   :whatever:

Ahhh... I see. I don't drink the flavored stuff very often, and when I do, it's orange flavored mixed in orange juice.

Don't know what it is about tequila....but it seems to have an effect on many people. I'm okay with one, maybe two(small) margaritas if I'm eating at the same time. It's when I just sit there and drink them, or do shots that's a bad idea. Unfortunately, by the time I realize it's a bad idea, everyone else has already noticed it was a bad idea.   :banghead:  I have however, become wiser with age.  :uhsure:

You know I have to say that the Red Diamond makes some decent sweet tea. It isn't homemade, but it is convenient when there are lots of people over, and I haven't heard anyone complain yet. It is pretty good.

It's great stuff, sweet tasting, but not sugar sweet. My wife loves the stuff too, so my mother makes a point of giving her a couple of boxes every Christmas.
I sleep like a baby on the stuff.

That sounds up my alley ... is there somewhere online I can order it?  or do certain stores carry it?

Tequila is Evilâ„¢ , especially when you "forget" to cut your base back from 120 proof before adding the bottle of tequila flavoring.

I like tequila! But it has to be done right. And it has to be a more expensive tequila. PAtron is my guilty choice. It goes down like water, and it doesn't give you that "I got hit by a train and lived" feeling the next day. Now if you do way too many shots, you're on your own!  :-) But it is smooth.

I love tea, period.  With the weather cooling I love to brew a pot for taste and relaxation.

For iced I use raw sugar for that little molasses type flavor.  For hot I use honey and sometimes a bit of milk depending on the type of tea.

I must stay out of Teavana!!  Their Raspberry Riot is so delicious and I use Lavender Dreams frequently before bed.  It's far too pricey, but I only buy it as an occasional treat.  Their collection of teapots is so tempting.
