(Reuters) - Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez vowed to "radicalize" his socialist revolution even further after legislative elections that gave the opposition one of its stronges
It is difficult for me to believe he will ever lose an election. If it is true then wonderful. I see him in power until death.

[Chavez] started on Sunday by announcing the expropriation of land owned by the Venezuelan agricultural company Agroislena and vowing to hasten the nationalization of land held by the British meat products company Vestey Foods Group.
Liberals love to quote Smedley Butler as illuminating everything that is wrong with the US and the capitalist system. Yet, here are multi-national companies being stolen. There is no indication they are destroying the land or mistreating their employees, only the ambitions of a petulant wanna-be thug.
Maj Gen Butler spoke against being a gangster for capitalism but now we see gangster socialism.
