A testy U.S. Sen. John F. Kerry yesterday blamed clueless voters with short attention spans for the uphill battle beleaguered Democrats are facing against Republicans across the nation.

“We have an electorate that doesn’t always pay that much attention to what’s going on so people are influenced by a simple slogan rather than the facts or the truth or what’s happening,” Kerry told reporters after touring the Boston Medical Center yesterday.

Conservative political blogger William Jacobson, who writes Legal Insurrection, immediately pounced on Kerry’s comments, saying that attitude is why voters are looking to shake up Capitol Hill by electing upstart candidates such as U.S. Sen. Scott Brown.

By all means feel free to go out and campaign on the strengths of the stimulate us plan, health care and how your president is killing American kids just to put up a good front in a war he intends to quit.

I think you should make those the central focus your campaign, especially the war part Mr. How-do-you-ask-a-man-to-be-the-last-person-to-die-for-a-mistake.

Yeah we just can't keep up with the nuances of the democratic party is all. They are just so much more intelligent than we are. To us knuckle draggers it appears the country is falling apart. When in reality everything is really wonderful.  :banghead:

In an odd sort of way, John F'in' Kerry is right...Uninformed voters elected Obumbles and a Congressional Dem majority, now the bastards are in trouble, ergo Democrats’ woes DO stem from uninformed voters.

It's the uninformed voters that are still supporting the Dems. If more knew what was going on, the Dem losses would be even  greater.

Yes they would be. The tide is turning hopefully against his type of politician.
