REVEALED: 43 House Democrats to SIDE WITH GOP on tax cuts for THE RICH

http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2010/09/44-house-dem...

44 House Dems Press Pelosi For More Tax Cuts For The Wealthy

As TPM first reported last week, Rep. John Adler (D-NJ) has been rounding up signatures on a letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi, urging her to extend more than just the upper-income Bush tax cuts, passed in 2001. In addition, Adler and his crew want to extend the 15 percent rate on capital gains and dividend taxes, created by the 2003 Bush tax cuts. Other media outlets have since picked up on the story, and now Adler's effort is gaining steam.

A source sent over a list of 44 Democrats (one was listed in error: David Wu, OR) who have signed on to the letter. That would be enough to tip the balance if these tax cuts come up for a vote before the end of this Congress. Pelosi has a great deal of discretion over whether that happens but, as we've seen today, the Democratic party doesn't have an overwhelming desire to take a stand on letting any of Bush's tax cuts expire.

The signing deadline is tomorrow.

2. I do not understand what good it does to have a Democratic majority when the Democrats are such cowards.

This is disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

I suggest that all DUmbasses in those districts show their solidarity to the Pelosi socialist democrat agenda by not voting.

Ya see DUmmies. Even your demosocialists know that tax cuts are needed for this economy. They either agree or it's just the elections that scare them, so they are siding with the repubs hoping to re-elected.

I know that Scott Murphy (NY-20) was only five points up on his challenger, Chris Gibson, in a poll done on August 1st.  Murphy wants to keep his seat.  Therefore, he's grasping at straws and wanting to do what the people in his district want him to do, not what the DUmors want him to do.

So called 'conservative" democRats know this is the time to tell Pelosi to pound sand! Even if they wanted to do it before, they had to risk her wrath!

Must not be anywhere in the House to get a bucket of water or a wooden stake and mallet!

A donk is a donk is a donk.  Once elected a conservative democrat will vote straight down the line when Nanzi Pelosi puts the hammerlock on them.
