At least one American business owner is showing his support for the Obama administration by completely stepping on his own crank when The Hollywood Reporter (http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/content_display/news/e3if1d3902d12574ec222961f1deec0fd2b) stuck a microphone in his face.

THR: Are you concerned that American Netflix subscribers will look north and ask for the same discount Canadians get at $7.99?
Hastings: How much has it been your experience that Americans follow what happens in the world? It’s something we’ll monitor, but Americans are somewhat self-absorbed.
Mr. Hastings, do you know what that sound is, you insufferable twat? That's the sound of everyone in my family simultaneously taking our sizable business to Blockbuster. :bird:

Thanks for reminding me why I don't have their service any longer. Took too ****ing long to get movies back even though the distribution center is in Portsmouth, 20 miles away.

They know they have people over the proverbial barrel with Blockbuster announcing bankruptcy today and some of their stores have closed recently.

Oh, this is just beautiful...
Because I mentioned Netflix in my post, everytime I click on it, guess who's fookin banner ad shows up at the top of the page?!?!? :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

Never used their company. Never will.
We have those little $1 Red Boxes at Walmart, why pay $10 a month for Netflix?
By the way, never used Red Box either. We never have any time to sit down and watch a movie uninterrupted with a little booger running around our home.

Well, I really enjoyed being able to watch just about any dvd they had (movies or TV) streaming through our Wii console.
However, I'm not about to give my money to some colossal prick who thinks I'm some knuckle-dragging xenophobe. Screw him and the moonbat he rode in on.

Some movies are cheap enough to buy outright from Amazon... I picked up a copy of Gran Torino for $9 and Gung Ho for $1.

Yeah that. The last rugrat is a high school senior, but damn, I just don't have time to sit down and watch movies. There are quite a few DVDs I bought or was given (And wanted!) that I just haven't had the time to watch for the past couple of years.

If you switch themes, some of them won't show ads. :whistling:

We want people to see the ads though...... ;)
I was thinking of switching to Netflix because I can stream movies from my PC to my TV. Now, I'm not so sure.
-
I got one for Chrome earlier.

I feel like I am stuck. We have been watching Stargate on the xbox streaming from Netflix. Maybe when we finish the series I will cancel. I wish it was the CEO of some other product I use.
-
After his comments I would never use Netflicks

Everybody with Netflix ought to call in and ask if their price could be reduced to the Canadian price :naughty:
