Quote
If I come as an immigrant, you have the obligation to make me a citizen." Those are the words from 58-year-old Zeituni Onyango of Kenya in a recent exclusive interview with WBZ-TV.

Onyango is the aunt of President Barack Obama. She has been living in the United States illegally for years, receiving public assistance in Boston.

Aunt Zeituni, as she has come to be known, first surfaced in the public light in 2008, in the final days of the Presidential election. Then-candidate Obama said that he was not against the possible deportation of his aunt. "If she has violated laws, then those laws have to be obeyed," he told CBS's Katie Couric. "We are a nation of laws."

Onyango had violated the law, and she knew it.

"I knew I had overstayed" she told WBZ-TV's Jonathan Elias when the two sat down one-on-one.

Zeituni Onyango said she came to the United States in 2000 and had every intention of leaving. Then, however, she says she got deathly ill and was hospitalized. When she recovered, she said she was broke and couldn't afford to leave.

For two years Onyango said she lived in a homeless shelter, before she was moved into public housing. "I didn't take advantage of the system. The system took advantage of me."

Actually No we don't. There is nothing in US law or the Constitution that says we have to take anyone in. At least before more recent times this country porobably denied as many as they let in.

Damn lazy ass bitch.  A trait that obviously runs in that family.  Don't care whether or not she's Zer0's "real" aunt because she's got the entitlement mindset down pat.
**** her.  Bitch shoulda been deported years ago.  How many tax dollars have paid for her worthless, worthless ass to exist? :fuelfire:

I was under the impression that there is a difference in immigrants and Refugees.

Talking to a friend he told me that at the end of VN those that had worked for the US military in his country were imprisoned, his father spent 5 years in prison.  The government was willing to take one member of his family to America, as he had but one brother that had been blinded in the war and his mother had to care for him.  So the youngest son came here as a refugee.

I made the mistake of speaking about immigrants and he got all puffy with me, he felt he was in a better class then just anyone that wandered on to our shores.

If you come as a LEGAL immigrant, you may stay.  But if you do not TAKE IT UPON YOURSELF TO WORK TO BECOME A CITIZEN, sack your shit.

But Auntie Zeituni typifies what is wrong with the policies of Obama and the liberals...gimme, gimme, gimme, and all she has to do is hold out her hand.

**** that shit.

I see her grasp of immigration law and policy is every bit as good as her nephew's.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

And rotten apples like those don't fall far from any tree.  The entitlement mentality is staggering in its complete and utter disregard for a smidgen of common sense.
Forget one rotten apple ruining the barrel, we have half a nation's worth of lousy spoiled apples out there voting themselves more and more bennies.

We have a woman who publicly comes out and says she's in this country illegally and ICE isn't outside of the studio to arrest and deport her?  I don't care if she's the President's aunt, get her ass out.  This is what's wrong with America.  We let these damn illegals march up and down our streets demanding rights, but no one is out there arresting them.  If Organizing for America can get a bunch of buses together to loiter in front of a building where Glenn Beck is speaking, we should be able to do the same at these "I DEMAND TO BE A US CITIZEN WHILE WAVING MY MEXICAN FLAG" marches.

The other night on the news they showed a rally held in downtown Los Angeles in favor of the DREAM act (this was before it was voted down  :hi5:).  One of the speakers stood at a podium in front of the large crowd and introduced herself as being undocumented and unafraid.

I was livid at hearing how she was openly flaunting her illegal status (I'm sorry honey, but you are illegal, not undocumented) and and how she was openly mocking how she is unafraid of being here illegally.  It's time that illegals live in constant fear of being arrested and deported for violating our immigration laws.  It is inexcusable that our elected "representatives" continuously call for comprehensive immigration reform and say that our immigration is broken.  What we need is aggressive immigration enforcement and the only thing that is broken is  our political system that keeps putting people in office who refuse listen to the will of the people and who refuse to enforce the existing laws that are on the books.
