My cat Sammy looked exactly like that as a kitten. A local police officer caught two eight year-old kids throwing rocks at him, trying to kill him, when he was about four weeks old!
The cop, whom knew my vet, took Sammy to my vet and my vet nursed him back to health. Sammy spent the next six months in a small cage at my vet's office until my wife discovered him. She promptly adopted him and I am blessed daily by his friendship!!
