Title: The bearfan family needs your help (DU scam???)
Post by: Ralph Wiggum on September 13, 2010, 03:55:40 PM
For the life of me, I don't recall hearing about this at the DUmp before.  Anyone in the "memory division" who remembers this?

About a year ago, our daughter was arrested and falsely accused of a felony by partisan Republican prosecutors in Williamson County, Tx. We hired a very competent attorney to ensure that her civil rights were protected and to ensure her right to a fair trial. We experienced many rescheduled court dates and bureaucratic red tape throughout this experience. Throughout the last year we have worked extra hours at our jobs, depleted our savings, and obtained a second mortgage on our home. We have expended all of our financial resources and desperately need more funding to continue our fight for her freedom. This is our last resort. We can win this fight with your help. Our daughter is a good person, wife, and mother. She deserves the right to legal representation. Would you please help us pay for her defense? You can donate here:

http://tinyurl.com/martinezlegal

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your contributions, time, and consideration.

The Bearfan family

A low post-count DUmmy asks the first question I would have asked:

11. The attorneys made it clear that we can't discuss
details since the case is still ongoing.

There's a sucker born every minute, and obviously the DUmmies are falling for this hook, line & sinker.

I found the Williamson County judicial records site, and you have to have a case number OR a full name to do any kind of lookup.

Tried that too. Was looking for an attorney name since the link Bearscam posted had "martinezlegal" in it. Nada.

I thought the same.  However, I suspect there might be a few people with the surname "Martinez" in central Texas.  Plus we'd need a first name to do a search.  I'm not going through every possible combination.  :-)

4. My dear bearfan454!
It is my great honor to be able to help you and your daughter in this crisis.

I just made a donation...

I truly hope that real justice will prevail, and that your daughter will be exonerated.

Recommended.

Wonder if the CalPig will ever mention how much she gave. Either way, I think she just got her money stolen.

Daycare owner arrest after being accused of lifting 2-year-old by her hair

By Miguel Liscano | Tuesday, September 29, 2009, 05:38 PM

Round Rock police have arrested a Round Rock home daycare owner who they say pulled a chunk of hair off of a 2-year-old girl’s head while caring for her.

Guadalupe Martinez, 59, has been charged with injury to a child, a state jail felony, punishable by up to two years in jail. She was being held in the Williamson County Jail on Tuesday with bail set at $50,000

Sure sounds like one of those types of cases where the defendant's family ALWAYS blames a malicious prosecutor, no?

No, that's total horseshit. If the so-called daughter is currently a defendant in a felony beef, it's a matter of public record, so for this chooch to try claiming that he "isn't allowed" to give up her first name is all the proof a thinking person needs to conclude that this guy is running some serious game on the primitives, starting with skinner.

I thought felonies were part of the public record too.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!

I can see why the attorney doesn't want the case details discussed, but the daughter's first name and charges are public record and CAN be shared.

I'm about 120% positive this is a scam.  Why not just use PayPal for donations?  I've never even heard of the site they are using.

It's Stevo Martinez and he lives in Taylor, Texas - he's very fond of writing "letters to the editor" (read: moonbat rants) to the local paper. There's also a "Mrs. Bearfan 454" that posts at the DUmp and is apparently the wife.

Me thinks this poser doesn't want any info out for the simple reason after reading the crime and what evidence is published, would immediately realize said defendant is as guilty as hell and they would be throwing their money away!

That's my read anyway. Even if the link posted isn't the case against his daughter/wife, even DUmmies have a hard time donating money for the abuse of kids! What other reason could he have for not sharing the charges?
