Title: Al Gore named school built on toxic soil
Post by: iaxelr8 on September 07, 2010, 10:36:18 AM
Freshly back from vacation..checking what I missed in the world. Came upon this one at Politico. More from the "do as I say, not as I do" file from Mr.Gore. Apparently, this school was built on top of a dozen storage tanks filled with toxic materials. I assume his low carbon footprint will counter the ultimate effects on the children. Just another irony from the man that stands to make more green (literal) money than anyone. Link to the story:http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0910/41828.html

Al Gore is a crook.

I have to disagree and agree at the same time.  I wonder what kind of President he would have made had he won the Election.

Some how he reminds me of this Brain Surgeon that got taken for $5,000,000 bucks in that Nigerian scam on the internet.

I think this is somewhat that happend to him.  He was looking around for a cause to become involved with and the Earth warming/cooling was a no brainer.   Perfect, He could pull in scientists that would agree with him no problem until those scientists began to see that their study on the topic was far different from Gores ideas.

These scientists worked for Gore, to tell their boss that he was full of baloney was not a good carear move.----------So they cooked the books.

Gore has an ego that is border line crazy, so even when the cooked books were found, Gore could not admit he was taken big time so he hires not scientists now but lobbyist to continue to push his agenda.

Toxic soil is all around us, anywhere a papermill has stood, a tannery, farm land that has not been worked in 60 years will have DDT in it.

Remember the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland, any place that was once a shop to make men's hats way back then has Mercury in the ground.

What ever happend to the big Raydon problem that companies made a bundle off of.

Today the town my Mom lives in has a problem with arsenic in the town water.

Not much land left on earth that is pure and untainted from toxic soil.
