Challenge every teabagger you meet: Name one tax that you pay that has gone up under Obama
They can't.
They just mumble and stutter and say, "We KNOW he has raised our taxes!"
Yet they cannot name a single instance of their taxes being raised in the past 20 months. Not one.
And the reason they can't is because there hasn't been any tax increases. Not one.

2. Yet...
Everything is scheduled to go up.
Dang, Pwned by your own people. :lmao:
The ones I can think of that are coming soon are,
Health care. New taxes will be collected for that.
Forth coming gas taxes when Obama pulls the plug on oil companies tax breaks. Guess who gets to pay those? All of us.
Then the Bush tax cuts that he is allowing to end.
On the wish list,
VAT taxes and a tax on energy (cap and trade).
-
A couple have gone up as the other DUmmies mentioned, but we also know that almost everyone's taxes will need to increase to cover the ridiculous amount of spending that has been going on.
-
Cigarette taxes...US and state in SC...almost $13 per carton since Obama took office.
-
Hey, lurking DUmors:
My wife was able to get her master's in visual art with an art therapy concentration, because of the Bush tax cuts. (She'll never actually use it in her specialty, due to a lot of other factors, but she went out and got it.) We were able to pay for it without going into too much student loan debt, too, because of those tax cuts.
So, FOAD. :bird: :bird: :bird:
And, JR, in some spots of NY, a pack of cigarettes is close to $10.

I just read today about one of the things thrown in on the credit card reform bill. Stores can now set a minimum transaction on credit card purchases.

How ****in' great is that?!?! What happened to this great Country?!?! :censored: :censored:

I really love how they try to linguistically pin the expring tax cuts on the Republicans. They cant get it through their pea brains if they let them expire its their fault not republicans. :bird: :censored:

18. Are we really going to try that explanation on the electorate?
Indeed. Good luck with that. The GOP had to build the expiration in to get it passed, it was an appeasement to the Demos. The bastards.

The stand off in January of 2011 will be very interesting.

I assume you mean "went up" almost 13 bucks a carton. Otherwise, I'm moving to SC. :rotf:
A carton of smokes around these parts are basically $70 bucks. Lord knows I bought myself a few packs in Ohio before heading down to NYC.

Sales
Cigarette (though I don't smoke the wife does occasionally)
And every tax that is taken by the feds from my paycheck.
I'm looking at almost a $1,000 increase in what I pay in federal income taxes starting in January of 2011. More if I get promoted.
DUmmies don't understand that concept because they are either on Welfare or content with $7 an hour.

Keep spewing the latest talking points form the DNC you mindless twit.
President Bush was forced to put a sunset into the tax cut bills to keep your Libtard masters in D.C. from blocking the whole process.
This is their doing no matter how you try to spin it. You created it...you OWN it.
-
A carton of smokes in NYC is now about $150. In upstate, a cheap brand like USA Gold is about $90. I stocked up on the Indian Reservation just before the Sept. 1 drop dead date, and they were $39 a carton. Thanks to Obama's PACT act, you can no longer ship cigs through the mail. So, the owners of the cig outlets on reservations are SOL, out of business. :censored: :bird:
I have also taken up e-cigs. It's water vapor, nicotine, and flavoring in a smoke-free, clean little device. I will use this to gradually give up the regular cigs. I am not participating in this rape of a tax. Nope. I also will not participate in any of the NY gambling schemes, like scratch off tickets and powerball. They're not extracting one dime more of me than possible. In addition, I will give favored status to state employees when it comes to my apartments, thereby getting some of my property taxes back.

Reframe all you want, DUmbass. The Republicans have had ZERO power to pass any legislation. It's all on you. Good luck with that tactic. :loser:

In Omaha, the tax hikes just announced for next year are,
Property Taxes
Resturant and entertainment taxes
Wheel Tax to include those like me that don't even live in Frakin Omaha.
And this is all because the Democrats in office there thought it was a keen idea to build a new Goddam stadium for the College World Series so they can stay there for 25 years . No one asked them to do this but the Great Mayor Fahey just had to spend that 200+ million to get the NCAA to say yes to this whole thing and now everyones going to pay for it. They would only have had to spend maybe a tenth of the cost to remodel Rosenblatt stadium to keep it functional and the NCAA probably would have stayed in Omaha anyway since they CWS had been there for over 50 years.
-
Lets see,
Property taxes are up
Insurance is up, car, health and home.
Gas is up
Food is up.
Movies are up.
Electronics are up.
Wait, lets do this the easy way. How about you DUmbasses tell us just what's come down besides employment and my pay since your hero-zero took over.
-
Don't forget the tanning tax. The lady who cuts my hair has a tanning booth, and she was ranting about it. She was an Obamite last year, no more.
-
I do pay less in taxes. Well sure property tax went up and sales tax but I made so much less my state and federal income, FICA, and medicare taxes are all far less than when the evil Bush was president.
Gee thanks for the tax cut Mr. Obama.
