6. His 'jocularity' belies the obvious fact that he's ageing rapidly. I think he's not a happy man. He's a man who has probably been abandoned by the GOP. Just like his father was when he lost to Clinton. I think his phone doesn't ring much, except for calls from his mother.

7. most likely he had good spirits in him
Nyuk...asshole in one!
I love a good BDS thread, especially since the man is retired and finally gets to enjoy life outside of the spotlight. :lmao:
Suck it, DUmmies.

Obama has already played more rounds of golf than President Bush did during two full terms.

I just got done reading the book that recently came out, by Laura Bush.
I was really surprised--and disappointed--at the lack of rancour in it.
I wish she would've shot some barbs, but she's got more class than I do.....and tons more class than Democrats, liberals, and primitives do.

If only W had Obama's laser like focus on job creation. :lmao:

I only copied part of lunatica's post... here's the whole thing. :mental: :ha:

He simply can't get on the national stage anymore. It doesn't matter whether he's 'helping' Haiti with Clinton, or being a 'motivational speaker' or walking his dog and picking up dog shit.
I see a man who is getting very old very fast. And I don't think drinking is totally to blame. He's been abandoned by everyone except his political enemies like Clinton and Obama. It must feel like a pity ****.

The Presidency rapidly ages all of its holders, some more than others. Bush isn't doing so bad. Neither did Clinton. Jimmy Carter practically disintegrated over just four years. And Obama, well, he has put on a whole lot of gray, and his wrinkles have increased substantially in 20 months.
What do you expect ? This is probably the most stressful job in the world.

Clinton looks awful. For someone who's only 64, he looks a lot worse. Didn't he have major heart surgery almost immediately after leaving office?

Yes he did - but that has less to do with the presidency, and more to do with a diet consisting of cheeseburgers and fried food. Spending one's entire adult life eating crap will debilitate mercilessly.

I'm surprised he didn't put a McDonald's franchise in the White House. What's the point in being the most powerful man in the world if you can't enjoy it.

From your words to the Obama's ears -- I don't think anybody has ever enjoyed the trappings of being the most powerful family in the world like they have.. :rotf:
edit ; me dunt spele too gud.

I'm conflicted... yes, Obama has shown himself to have zero work ethic and to be one lazy-assed vacationing mother****er, but isn't it worth a few dollars to keep his dumb ass out of DC? On the other hand, it's his job and he needs to stay in Washington. Hmmm...
If I was President, I'd have the White House chef working overtime.

I could only read a little bit of that thread. These people are the biggest hypocrites ever. How the hell can you sit there and bitch & moan about the previous President golfing, when your president is golfing every other freaking week?
-

BINGO!!! :cheersmate:
Let's not forget that Bush gave up some of his golf time while we were at war. He felt it wasn't right that he was out playing golf while we have troops fighting a war and dying/getting injured for our Country. (I'm not supporting Bush at all as he started the whole TARP thing. But, I will say he did support and showed his support for our troops, unlike the imposter we have occupying the White House now.)
