Michigan over UConn 30-10.
They looked good for a change.
-
UT won 50-0 over Little Sisters of the Poor - otherwise known as UI-Martin. Bless their hearts...I felt sorry for them.
This is the best win we will have all season.....it may be the ONLY game we win all season. :bawl:
-
LSU led 30-10 at half-time. And then almost lost to UNC's second-string team.
-

Don't feel too bad for them. The school received a ton of money for the game.

Texas A&M 48 - SFA 7.
Yeah, I can live with that. :-) But I'll be interested to see how they do against the big name teams.

Win? Nope . . .
Miami (Ohio) was crushed by the Florida Gators 34-12
Next week it's back to MAC conference games (Eastern Michigan) -- whew!
High school games start this coming weekend -- St. Joe's vs. Buena on Sat 11th (no Friday night lights here). My son's freshmen team games don't start until 9/30 due to other schools' lack of freshmen football teams! He has to be on the sideline of every varsity game though . . .

Damnit. Lost to Rice by 1 point, 32-31. :bawl:
UNT is 0-2 now. Not an auspicious start to the new season. Unless Todd Dodge gets on a roll and wins every game from here to the end of the season, he's done.
In "schools I follow but don't go to" news, Texas A&M steamrolled LA Tech 48-16 to go 2-0 :hyper: and Washington blasted Syracuse 41-20 to go 1-1 :hyper: .
2-1 for the week.
Next week, UNT plays Army (and wins), TAMU plays Floriduh International (and wins) and U-Dub plays Nebraska (and loses.)

UT lost last night...they were doing ok until the game was stopped on account of an incredible storm. Managed one more TD at the very beginning of the 2nd quarter and it was downhill from there. Ducks obviously do better in rain and wet than Volunteers.... :thatsright:
Probably just like the rest of the season. :(

OU kicked the dogsh*t out of Florida State! :hi5:

This transplant is happy Alabama won -- Auburn won -- my son's school Michigan Tech even won, the Coast Guard Acadamy even won -- down side, daughters school UAB lost again ...... but my
University of Michigan wolverines beat Notre Dame --- [but I still don't like Rich Rodriquez]
We don't have a good coach in my opinion, but so far this year we do have one hell of a QB - 883 yards running and passing so far this year - 502 combined against ND - go figure :thatsright: :cheersmate:

Son's high school team rolled:
St. Joe's 40

Alma Mater:
Miami (Ohio) 28
Eastern MI 21
