Well, if the shoe fits......... (just sayin')
I could hardly diss on a trombone player, as DOC & I both were trombone players at one point in our lives.
Maybe I should have said, "Valved Brass players"?? :fuelfire:

Well, I can't say for certain that DOC still plays...... so I was forced to use past tense, at least because of him. Besides, ya dolt, I have a trumpet, too, so I can't even say, "valved brass players"...... :thatsright: :innocent:

I haven't picked up a trombone in decades.....I still mess around with the piano on occasion, but as was always the case I'm one of those unfortunates that has a huge appreciation for music.....and absolutely no talent.....

So how's my old buddy El Lardo doing? You just missed him. :-)
-
Sinise has a band called the Lt. Dan Band and has done dozens of show for the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as at bases here. He also has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for various charities that assist veterans and families of the deployed troops. He's a very good man.
