These are gonna be pretty big, I think, so I apoligize for decimating bandwith.

My brother and I at Ground Zero
That last one is probably my favorite pic. It was a very humbling experience to go down there, and I will never forget it.

Awesome! Glad you were able to recover them!
Why do y'all look so mad on top of the ESB? :-)
-
Haha. My normal straight face, actually. I don't often smile for the camera.

The site should automatically resize pictures. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
-
Hopefully, it's not too bad.

lolwhut?
I'd like to see more pictures of the WTC site if you have them.
-
Cool pics!!!! How did you feel about seeing Ground Zero? I still can't go....I live in D.C. and just can't make myself go up to NYC even though I really want to.
-
Honestly...I didn't really cry, but I wimpered a little bit. I don't cry much at all. Once in a blue moon. I don't really feel like a ***** for admitting to wimpering either. Being there....it was like all the news footage came flooding back, and I seemed to hear the sirens. I can only imagine what members of the FDNY feel like going past there.
I thanked every single construction crew member in a neon yellow shirt I saw for being there day and night working on it.
It really is something that will modify your outlook on life in general, Fire. At least that's how I felt. I feel even MORE anger towards the hijackers, and those that think like them now.
I have one, or maybe 2 more that I could post, Chris, but they didn't turn out real well...
They have a yellow tint.
-
Whoops. I did in fact forget I had another pick of me and my bro at Ground Zero. a teensy better view of the site:

I, too, would like to go and pay my respects at Ground Zero.

Great photos! thanks for sharing....ummm is that a Pepsi ?
-
Hi Rev -- looking forward to checking these out when I get home. Anything linked from Photobucket shows up as a big ole' red 'x' when I access CC on this computer :hammer:
So how badly will the Eagles get crushed by the Packers on opening day -- any predictions?? I have VERY low expectations this season . . . :bawl:
(sorry for jacking the thread a bit!!)
-
Yeesh, Momma Mia is STILL playing?
-

Yeah, but they only had Diet on the street corner where I bought it. Dammit...

Yeah. Cullen, Barnett, and Clay are going to be all over Kolb. He'll be lucky to get 70 yards through the air. :p

Finally got to see your pics . . . very nice!! The ESB is such a cool building with all the art deco design, etc. I haven't been up to NYC in almost 15 years; the last time I went was to attend a PC Expo at the Javits Center there in Times Square for work -- it was 'Disney-fied' back then too.
Thanks for posting them -- glad you had fun!
(heh, the Eagles are right now playing the last pre-season game against the Jets. Guess it'll be on Hard Knocks next week! Just scrubs playing scrubs, nothing really to watch )
-
Thanks for posting the pics - I got a real good feel of your trip.
Also, you both are very cute young guys, indeed :cheersmate:

You get another decade or two under your belt and you won't feel like a ***** for admitting that some things make you cry.

I paid $275.00 for the Revo Sunglasses I was wearing in that pic.
Yet ya know, 3000+ of my fellow Americans died in the towers behind me!
Priorities?
Die...liberals...die...

I love picture threads and this was no exception.
Thanks for posting!

Paid $10 bucks for mine, PG. And everyone who knows me knows my love of Denis Leary's work. I like the shades he has in RM. Can't find the exact pair he does wear, and they're probably 200 bucks, but my shades are close. :)
