This is interesting and so typically Republican.

Well once this is done, they can say they found the WMD in Iraq.
The "device" was obviously not glowing in the dark.
This is sooo ****ing typical of the oppressive behavior of US Government under Republican rule.
Weapons that are capable of a high order of destruction and/or of being used in such a manner as to destroy large numbers of people. Weapons of mass destruction can be high explosives or nuclear, biological, chemical, and radiological weapons, but exclude the means of transporting or propelling the weapon where such means is a separable and divisible part of the weapon. Also called WMD. See also destruction; special operations.

By that measure, wouldn't a semi-automatic assault rifle also be a WMD?
It could cause as much death as a homemade pipe bomb.
The categorization is completely arbitrary, it seems. How many deaths is now considered "mass".

If the prosecutors get this established as law it's going to turn all kinds of misdemeanors into long jail terms for anyone (except Blackwater of course). Got a tank of gas in your car ... WMD.
