How Much Worse Does It Have to Get (Before We Get Off Our Butts and Do Something)?
I had two choices. I could keep this OP short by limiting myself to a rant about how bad things are. Or I could spend a little more time and discuss some ways to make things better.
I picked number 2.

No, I didn't post it all. After that last sentence, he goes on to explain how bad things are from the perspective of a DUmor. The end goal, obviously, is the same old story. Same old end goal they've been searching for for years. We all know what it is.
I'm sorry. I just couldn't read all of it. Too long, and I don't have the patience right now. I did skim it though.
Oh my...

As of now, there's only 20-some responses, and Bobbo the Hobo shows up four times. Said DUmor tries to turn the thread into something about homelessness. But the OP's line of thinking is classic socialist, failed thinking, which the Obamessiah is going to guarantee that the US doesn't see in the next 25 to 40 years after his one term.

This line from the last paragaph sums it up:
McCamy Taylor
All of the above ideas (except for the last one) were stolen from the New Deal.
No mention that the New Deal was a bandaid at best, and not one that would have sustained anything had WW2 not come along to finally pull the country out of the Depression. Of course you ask idiots like the McCamy primitive and they'll deny that WW2 had anything to do with ending the Depression but rather that FDR's New Deal was the panacea. Like virtually everything else they believe, it' a lie.

Here is what Bobbo the hobo recommends we do about homelessness (edited list).

5. Develop downloadable PowerPoint programs that can be presented anywhere.... colleges, community groups, church groups, etc., containing the REAL information about homelessness and hunger in this country.
Develop a program of getting donations to run a series of half- or full-page ads in the NYT with that information.
Develop some billboards.
I saw a suggestion that I liked... putting together a comic book that would appeal to younger young adults.
:lmao
Oh, and here's a post that stands alone:

27. Things aren't bad, we made history in 2008!!!
Just look at your Obama t-shirt or Obama collector's plates, they'll make you feel better.
:lmao: :rotf: :loser:

Tell me again how Bobo the Hobo is so dysfunctional she can't support herself, and continues to live off our dime!
Frikkin' leach! A comic book? For cripes sake!
While you're doin' this Bobo, how 'bout showin' poverty here in the US as compared to say, Somalia!
Bobo, you ignorant slut!
-
Bobo the Hobo doesn't seem to understand that Americans, above all the other people on Earth, want to feel good.
The Adventures of Homeless Man or The Astounding Dumpster Diver comics aren't going to appeal to anyone except professional misery makers.
How many years has Bobo been homeless now? She has made a careerer of it. If she put her mind and effort to being wealthy, or at least having a home, instead of constantly defining herself as a victim, there is no limit to where she could end up.

FDR gaves up the "New Deal"
LBJ gave us the "Free Deal"
Obama is giving us the "Raw Deal"

Bobo, you ignorant slut!
AR, that's an insult to ignorant sluts everywhere.

He got away with it purely because of Jane Curtain's responses . . .

Are you sayin' I have to have Bobo the Hobo respond in order to make it accurate? heh!
I've never seen her pic, but just the image in my mind is enough to think of "crack whore"! I've seen plenty of them! Most of 'em are homeless too!

Lurking DUchebags:
Tax cuts created 8.2 million jobs in 3.5 years.
Civilian employment
137,790,000 employed when taxes were cut in June 2003
146,032,000 employed when Dims took control in Jan 2007

No pic is needed. We've done enough location shooting in the South Florida heat to be able to ID them based on smell alone.
