We don't have to! I don't give a **** what the gubberment tells us or what the "diversity czars" tell us. I don't tolerate them or their bullshit religion. :bird:

Unfortunately, intolerance comes in many forms. And many religions.
What I will not tolerate is people from any religion doing terrible things in the name of God. Their god, my God, any god.

I agree.
As a Catholic, in this area....I have had people call me "heathen", tell me how they are Christian - and I'm not, I'm a sinner...etc, etc. I watched an Episcopal priest be blatantly rude to my son's Jewish godfather at his christening. My best friend is a Jew.
But that's ok what people say...not right....but ok.
But when they say they do - whatever evil - because God tells them to.....it makes me angry. It's using God to justify their evil....not because they truly believe in God - mine or theirs.....it's just a convenient excuse....which makes their evil act even more heinous.

Yes, unfortunately, there are many forms of intolerance with Christians. I don't think it is anything like what we see with some of the Muslims killing to get to heaven or whatever it is the extreme Muslims feel the need to do, but it can be dangerous. Look at Fred Phelps. We certainly don't have to agree with what other's believe, BUT as long as it isn't encroaching on my beliefs and my peace (and others of course), then I will keep my mouth shut to an extent. I realize that others believe as wholeheartedly in their "god" as I do mine. My duty as a Christian is to educate them, but after that, I am done. I will not ridicule, etc. It certainly doesn't help. In fact, it hurts.
What we all have to take a stand against is killing, hurting, etc., in the name of any religions or gods. OR in the name of anything.

I have read that from Al-Qaeda tape that they called all Iranians/Persians "infidels" regardless of religion. It is not just religious, it is becoming increasingly more ethnic and that gets even more nastier.

Interesting link, some where and how I don't know what made me think of this but---How come we have heard nothing about our home grown Christian Aryn Nations in the last few years.?
I know they are still around and spreading out, perhaps joining in the south with the members of the Clan that keep their sheets in the closet.
Here in the north I have seen a few from time to time at the local shooting range, all from Mass. by their car plates and these men and woman don't fool around.

The Klan is all over. Not just the south. I can't say we've seen a rise in Klan members down south. At least not to my knowledge.

Yeah, it is alive and well all over this country unfortunately. However, I can't say that I've seen or heard about any increase in members here in MS. There was a big deal a while back with the Edgar Ray Killen conviction, but even that had a "low" turn out of klan members. So, they are either in hiding or there numbers really aren't up there such as the northern klan coming down south to join the klan here as the poster alluded to.

The reason some think the Clan has died out is that they became educated and finally got some smarts.
They only keep records of members that flunked out of the 8 grade and are willing to march now and then wearing the Clan robes.--This gives people the impression that the Clan has few members and those are idiots.
FAR from the truth, in rural comunities and large towns the people that run the town be it judges , lawyers, doctors, police, school teachers whatever, the educated keep their sheets in their closet.
Not just the Clan, across this country there are hundreds if not thousands of these society's, be it the Tongs in New York, the Mexican groups, the Russians, the Irish, good grief, Millions of Americans belong to social clubs that are intolerant of others. The Loyal Order of the Moose is just one of them.
The Moose I have a bone to pick with, in Portsmouth VA. that Lodge had a rule that no man or woman in the military could enter the Lodge in uniform. 1974 or there abouts.
