Thanks to the Milton Friedman economy.
We've put a kid thru school, have a house and have lived modestly all of our life.
I had the f-ing GUTWRENCHING task of having to let go of my employees after going broke trying to keep them employed and business moving. Gutwrenching.
I should've taken that BP post prod. project I turned down (on principle) a couple of months ago. I could've hung on for a few more weeks had I taken it.
Our choices, and our kid's choices, are few. Very few.
It's tough trying to stay positive.

That is a tough nut to crack in these times too. Especially for an old road worn fart.
Thanks.
Get that second hand high instead of buying your own pot? There's a few there, but mostly just condolences.

I hate it when anyone loses their job/career.
But, if this DUmbass voted for Lord Zero, get ready for things to GET WORSE, not better!!! I wonder if he thought that Lord Zero would wave his magic wand and make things better!! ::) ::)
(It's still Bush's fault!!!) :rotf: :bird:

Total. Unadulterated. Bullshit. :bs:
Notice the oh-so-topical inclusion of BP. "Oh, were it not for my passion for social justice, I mighta made a go of it!"
Trust me. I know bullshit when I see it. These people are congenital, sociopathic liars.

DUmmies said, "I had the f-ing GUTWRENCHING task of having to let go of my employees after going broke trying to keep them employed and business moving. Gutwrenching."
...and the bastards didn't appreciate that fact at all, did they?...they're democrats.
I did that twice before I learned.....yes, at somethings, I was a slow learner.

I remember it coz the scars on both my wrists looks like I went 'down the road"

From the accident, right?

I hate seeing anyone lose their job, but Democrats need to realize that when the Dems took over Congress in 2007 unemployment was under 5%, when Bush left office the deficit was 500 billion dollars, 3 years later unemployment is OFFICIALLY a little under 10% (we know it's higher) and the deficit has tripled to 1.5 trillion. So what are you going to do? continue to vote for the party responsible for losing jobs?

Hang in there buddy, we are all struggling.
She was going to donate in his name so he could get a star? than why hasn't she donated yet in her own name? I don't think she had any intention of donating at all. :(

Exactly. You'd think they'd call each other out on their bullshit more often, but I guess sociopaths aren't capable of even that level of honesty.

Well mission accomplished, you got someone to buy you a star.

Thanks to the Milton Friedman economy.
Monetary policy had nothing to do with it because I own and operate my business and am doing just fine. Things aren't as good as it has been, but I am innovative and intelligent enough to know how to keep afloat, and I also knew how to put extra to the side knowing that business cycles are sure to come and go.
Billy Burnett primitive, your business is dead because you screwed up. Here that: You screwed up.

And if ANYONE believes that this thread was started for anything other than that express purpose, they need to 'fess up to their DUmp name right here and now.
