Title: Blagojevich Jury is deadlocked on some counts
Post by: Ralph Wiggum on August 11, 2010, 04:28:30 PM: The judge in the trial of former Gov. Rod Blagojevich announced that the jury is deadlocked on some counts in the case.

U.S. District Judge James Zagel, reading from a note from jurors, said they had made â€œa reasonable attemptâ€ after deliberating 11 days and had done so â€œwithout rancor.â€

â€œWhat is the next logical step?â€ the jury asked in its note.

Zagel said in court that he needs further clarification from the jury before deciding the next step.

The jury wants to go home for the day, the judge said.

I'm listening to Chicago radio right now and that is not what they're reporting :The jury is not unanimous on all counts.

This is so confusing. :banghead:

Listening to Robert Blagojevich's lawyer right now - he's obviously hoping they're only deadlocked on Robert's counts, not Rod's.

That's what I'm worried about. Some jag-dork with a thick Chicago accent on the jury who's been sitting there saying "He seems innocent to me". :censored:
