Oh for God's sake.  Windex and a paper towel.

Slut says you have to go shopping for special equipment first:

1. Is it an LCD screen?
Myself, I use a half/half mix of water and vinegar, spray a portion of a soft cloth and wipe my LCDs with it, then dry off with the dry portion of the cloth. Microfiber cloth is good but I use those white car polishing cloths that come in ten-packs - they're made from the same kind of cotton as cloth diapers.

This DUmmie says you have to drive out to the Lenscrafters first:

2. I use multipurpose lens cleaner and a microfiber cloth.

3. Use an already-used dryer/fabric softener sheet as a dust cloth.
The fabric softener helps reduce the static charge that attracts and holds dust (or so it was explained to me). This method has worked pretty well for me and it allows for a longer time between cleanings.

But, that's going against DUmp rules, using an item for more than one purpose.

I don't want to start a whole new thread for this, but I wanted to post the following as proof that liberal lefties have ZERO sense of humor.  So I'll just stick it here.

LeftyFlingingPoop tries to post a funny:

Go to Walmart and buy some LCD screen cleaner from the electronics department.   :hammer:

DUH!

The crayon scribble on the screen must be getting pretty thick.   :rotf:

UG!

There is a 'thing' called THE FRACKING OWNER'S MANUAL that will tell YOU how to clean the screen. Every screen cleaning instructions I have read in the past 20 years states "No ammonia, no alcohol!" That leaves out Windex, moron!

Personally, I have used a damp soft towel with a VERY small drop of Dawn dish washing liquid (normally called a "mild detergent"), to clean the screen. Then another damp towel to remove the Dawn remnants, then a dry cloth to - dry.

You do realize that a better method of keeping your tv screen from "getting pretty funky" is to step back another 5 feet while whacking-off to DVD porn...

Uh you're giving the DUmmie wayyyyyyyyy to much credit.

4 inches father back should be more than enough room.  :-)

Exactly, but that would require them to spend money! And we all know how they are with their own money, but have no problem spending other peoples money!! :censored:

Now that TV may need a "deep cleaning", in which case do the following. Buy a cheap 5 outlet extension cord, fill bathtub with warm soapy water, plug in TV, get in tub with TV and soak the TV for 15 minutes with it running. This will clean all the gears real good....now put TV in oven for one hour at 450 degrees and then refill with type 2 LCD TV transmission oil.....apply for "Section 8" housing at your local mortuary.

JohnnyReb...... :lmao:

I'm with debk, I use whatever I happen to be running around the house with at the time.  It's fine.  Everything has to be a drama.  This looks like something Warpy would give some know-it-all advice on, but she didn't show up.

HopeHoops again, with more special shopping trips for specialized equipment and systems.

5. OfficeMax has a "LCD/monitor cleaning system" that works great.
It isn't very expensive. It has a spray and an applicator with pads you put on it.

Can you imagine all the junk accumulating in these DUmmies apartments?  Every drawer would be a junk drawer just to hold all this stuff.

Hey DUmbass, maybe ya ought to quit boppin' yer baloney so close to the screen while watchin' yer gay porn! The screen won't get smeared!
