It's here too.

Well, it's pretty clear that flight attendant traveled down a very slippery slope.
He won't be seeing any air pockets in jail.
-
I suck at life.
I am trying to find the video of Ben Stiller in Meet The Parents when he got in an argument with the flight attendant.
Fail.
-
While I can understand getting pissed and quitting your job, I don't see committing a federal crime on the way out being a very good idea...
-
Two of those charges are bogus, at best. The criminal mischief MIGHT stick. I don't see how he could be trespassing, as the flight crew is allowed full airport access. The reckless endangerment is bogus because the plane was safely on the ground, UNLESS there were ground crew below.
-
I saw an article where it said that when authorities caught up to him at his home, he was "locked in a sexual embrace with his partner." Waaaaay TMI by the news outlet involved.
The woman that he was trying to stop should face Federal charges, IMO. Interfering with a flight crew is a Federal crime . . .
-
There are days when I wish I had an emergency chute.

I don't think that applies to the TARMAC area.

I would love to be on that jury!

That was a good scene, and appropriate to this event. SNL could do a funny skit on this one.

I do not think this will reach a jury stage, he will plead guilty to some small charge and then have his union sue the company on his behalf.
So anyone out there ever watch a coworker melt down big time----I have.
-
What union sue for him? He's gonna be in the unemployment line faster than you can say, "Put your tray tables up..."
-

It did, at least when I worked for Delta.......

They aren't allowed full tarmac access. Most of the crew, if its not their home base, are allowed only in the area around the aircraft.

I dunno. I've seen Flight Crews walk from the baggage area all the way to the aircraft or Operations via the tarmac. Of course, this was 15 years ago, now, so things have probably changed.

He looks a little light in the loafers.

Still sitting in jail. Couldn't come up with $2500 for bail money.

When the cops showed up at his house, he was in bed with his partner.
-
A gay flight attendant... what is this world coming to? :lmao:
I didn't hear about the being-in-bed thing, only that he had been drinking when the cops showed up.

Ok Sparky perhaps I have had my leg pulled here by a co-worker that was getting ready to retire.
He told me that he joined the Teamsters 40 years ago, had left that work after 2 years but had paid dues every month to that union. He also said he had joined another union and when he left that job had also paid that union every month.
Someone in his family was a Union Rep. --he said-- and had told him that what ever he did or how bad he needed money, he needed to pay Union dues every month.
Now this may all be hog wash but Unions do want money and he told me it did not matter if he quit the job, got laid off or was fired long as he sent in his check each month he was covered for retirement at 62 years old.
-
I can't confirm if this is true or not, but I have read from a person who claimed to listen to the radio that the woman passenger involved is a local politician. Something tells me that this woman's name is going to leak out. It has a way of doing this. :fuelfire:

It seems the public supports him.

Yep, I was listening to NPR last night and they were talking about how he is becoming somewhat of a cult hero for the "I wish I'd done that last time I felt like snapping" crowd.
Sure, it's fun to think about...but yet again it comes down to personal responsibility and self control. He acted like a spoiled child that didn't get what they wanted. You don't like the job....uh.....QUIT! If you are in any type of customer service, you will be abused. If you can't handle that, then don't do it. There are appropriate ways to deal with the abuse, and this "gentleman's" reaction was typical of the whiney, self indulgent, and poor-me culture permeating our society. He doesn't want to deal with the public? Great, put him on a production line where he would have to get his hands dirty and learn what real work is about.

It was pretty nauseating watching the fawning that went on this morning on an All Barack Channel (ABC) "news" followup.
Mini-interviews with the pole-smoker's mother and ex-wife. Lots of photos of his grinning mug.
:gay:

He is grinning because if they throw him in jail think of all the new "dates" he can have
