The Taliban has claimed responsibility for killing "nine Christian missionaries" in northern Afghanistan after a group of foreign doctors were found dead.
The bodies of two American and six German doctors were discovered in remote Badakhshan province, according to local police.
The group were apparently ambushed then lined up and shot in Kuran wa Minjan district, according to the testimony of a sole Afghan survivor.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahed claimed responsibility for the attack saying: "Yesterday at around 8am, one of our patrols confronted a group of foreigners. They were Christian missionaries and we killed them all."

Fox was reporting around noon, that it was 6 Americans.
They also reported the Taliban said they killed them because they were preaching Christianity.
I'm with Thor....either kill the MF's or we need to get the hell out of there, because I don't really think they are ever going to reach an end to this war otherwise, if Obama and his merry band of idiots continue to direct this war as they are.
I don't think Obama will ever try to end it, he will keep going as he is with more and more Americans dying, until he thinks it will make him a hero, with the American public, to bring all our military out of the mid-east.
He's too stupid to realize that at least half of this country, if not more, want him to, as Thor says, "pull out all the stops", and go after "any and all enemies of the United States of America".
The public's reaction to a mosque going in at Ground Zero, should be an indication that the majority of this country are not "wanting to make friends and play nice" with terrorists.

Can I just say that I agree with everyone here and it is so good to hear these replies.
(I have been on another site where there was a politics section and I got "scolded" for not being so "diversified". This is so refreshing and good to know that there are others like me out there!!) :cheersmate: :cheersmate:

As much as I try to give benefit of the doubt and hope that some sort of peaceful resolution can be achieved, there are times where that's not possible--this is one of them. In the words of Ann Coulter after 9/11, "Kill their leaders, take their stuff."

One of the women killed....was from here. Her father's a pastor at a church, here. She was 32 and had been in Afghanistan for 6 YEARS. :(

What I don't understand, is most of those killed had been in Afghanistan for several years....why were they suddenly killed? What changed? One had been there more often than not, since the '70's.
