Post by: ColonialMarine0431 on August 05, 2010, 01:34:24 PM
Has this been posted already? I ran a search and didn't find it.

This is probably driving the unhinged left nuts. And I must admit I completely missed this story originally.

Fox News Receives Front-Row Seat in White House Briefing Room

The White House Correspondents’ Association on Sunday announced that Fox News will get a coveted front-row seat in the White House briefing room.

The Associated Press will take Helen Thomas' old seat, while Fox News will now occupy AP's former seat. NPR and Bloomberg also applied for the position.

Of course HT's old seat went to a "water carrier" for Lord Zero. The AP is as bad or worse than the networks.

This is no olive branch. The war between the Oval Orifice and FN is still very much on. This "decision" is simply a way to "keep my enemies close, but my enemies closer".

And just because FN is sitting in the front row doesn't mean they'll get called on to ask questions.

The white house doesn't get to choose the seating. That is chosen by the press pool

Do you honestly believe that the WH doesn't have any influence in who goes where? Say what you want about the WHCA, five will get you ten that the WH definitely gets a voice in the matter.
