Thanks to a DU member for this quote...
"I remain thoroughly outraged at the idea that we are told to forget about war crimes... and that lying to get this country into war has no negative consequences and those guilty of doing so are free to profit from their crimes."
With all the problems that get attention in this nation, why are war crimes deemed acceptable?

War crimes are not acceptable. A republican starting military action is not a war crime DUmmies. How quick you forget both congress and the UN approved Bush taking action.

2. And Obama's failure to prosecute perpetrators was his first and greatest error.
If the President thought that not prosecuting the Bush administration would gain him Republican support for his reforms, he thought wrong!
If Obama could prosecute Bush for jay walking he would have had Holder on the case by now.

4. It all relates back to "American Exceptionalism"

6. K & R
Ignoring the inevitable will not make it go away.
Those who commit war crimes must be punished.
What about Obama's war crimes?
he continued on both "illegal wars".

16. but the Senate passed an anti pot brownie bill!
I mean, where are your priorities?
I keep hearing about this does anyone know to what they are referring or reefering? :-)

They're too stupid and highly-programmed to understand a real explanation, so I'll just leave at 'Suck it, DUmmies, give this your maximum effort so America can get the biggest laugh possible out of your ultimate humiliation and impotent rage.'

To the lurking DUmmies...something for you to take back to the Hive.
What war crimes were comitted?
Please show some credible proof that someting that falls under the widely accepted definition of a "war crime" was comitted in the prosecution of the combat operations in either Iraq or Afghanistan.
TruthOut...alterweb...LewRockWell...and al-Jazeera do NOT count as "credible" sources in this debate.
Neither does afterdowningstreet or Coast To Coast AM.
Your blind seething hatred for former President George Bush and former Vice President Dick Cheney does not...repeat DOES NOT constitute concrete evidence of wrong doing either.
Put your BDS away for a second...please.

DUmmies don't need proof Sarge. He's a Republican. Republicans only need suspicion to be guilty. Where have you been the last 9 years?

They do realize that Obama is now just as guilty of 'war crimes' as Bush, right ?
A ) Obama followed Bush's withdrawal timeline from Iraq.
B ) Obama is not only continuing in Afghanistan, he has escalated the war, and has frequently entered into Pakistan to continue the fight --- in a country we are not at war with. ---
C ) Obama supports Extraordinary Rendition - if memory serves, your side refers to this practice as 'Torture by Proxy'
D ) Gitmo is still open, as are other Gitmo like facilities.
Etc. etc. etc.. -- So if Bush did these things and is guilty, Id say Obama is even more guilty since he is 'the smartest president ever' - yet he continues doing exactly what 'Chimpy McCokespoon' started.

Don't forget Obama also put General "Betray Us" in charge of the Afghanistan war effort. :-)
