THE SINGING SUNSHINE PRIMITIVE
Original message

This is what a classy Democratic wedding looks like,,,,

after which a photograph of a wedding taking place in what looks like one of those metal sheds commonly used in the Sandhills of Nebraska to store tractors and stuff

Carolyn Bessette and John F. Kennedy Jr. were married in a secret ceremony on Cumberland Island, off the coast of Georgia, on September 21, 1996. The evening ceremony took place in the wood-frame Brack Chapel of the First African Baptist Church. The 40 guests included Ted Kennedy, Caroline Kennedy and her husband Edwin Schlossberg. The wedding was planned by Gogo Ferguson, a Cumberland Island resident who also designed the couple’s wedding bands.

The bride walked down the aisle in a $40,000 pearl-colored silk crepe floor-length gown, hand-rolled tulle silk veil and long silk gloves by Narcisco Rodriguez. She also wore beaded satin Manolo Blahnik sandals. Her hair was pulled back away from her face and styled by George Kyriakos. A bun at the nape of her neck was pinned with a clip belonging to Jackie Kennedy. She clutched a lily of the valley bouquet, arranged by Rachel “Bunny” Melon, the same woman who designed the White House rose garden. The groom wore a single-breasted, midnight-blue wool suit, with a white piqué vest by Gordon Henderson and his father’s wristwatch.

The groom’s nieces, Rose Schlossberg and Tatiana Schlossberg, were flower girls and wore tea-lenth white linen dresses. His nephew, Jack Schlossberg was ring bearer. John’s cousin, Anthony Radziwill, served as best man, and Caroline Kennedy was maid of honor, wearing a high-waisted, navy-blue crepe silk gown designed by Narcisco Rodriguez.

The brief Catholic service was conducted by Reverend Charles J. O’Byrne of Manhattan’s Church of St. Ignatius Loyola. The church, which had no electricity, was lit with candles and kerosene lamps, and the couple stood under an altar adorned with greenery arranged by Efigenio Pinhiero, Jackie Kennedy’s longtime butler. They picked two hymns, “Amazing Grace” and “Will the Circle Be Unbroken,” which were performed a capella by gospel singer David R. Davis.

look it is their money and all that but that other seven figure wedding is what I would expect from the Palins not the Clintons...

It's sad when you realise you can't buy class.

Don't scratch the singing sunshine primitive off your card just yet.

Not all the time, but most of the time, there's a sequel.

I have no idea what the sequel will be, but I'm sensing a sequel coming up here, somewhere, in some shape.

Liberal hypocrisy knows no limits.

Rush's expensive wedding = Bad
BJ's offspring and her expensive wedding = good

Same thing about big houses, private jets and carbon footprints.

Rush's expensive wedding = Bad
Liberal hero entertainer performs at Rush's wedding = Horrifying
BJ's offspring and her expensive wedding = good

Same thing about big houses, private jets and carbon footprints.

The best part of Sir Elton John performing at Rush's wedding was Sir Elton's statement that, in his experience, people on the right are more tolerant than people on the left.

You know, I just went through that whole campfire a second time, this time with a fine-toothed comb, trying to find out.

Superficially, it looks as if the singing sunshine primitive got mausoleumed because of his criticism of the Clintons, but that doesn't quite make sense, as other primitives over the years have been even more harshly critical of the Clintons, and gotten away with it.

Unless.....unless.....it's true that on Skins's island, it doesn't matter so much what's said, but who says it.

But given my fellow alum Skins's personal character and well-deserved reputation for even-handedness and fairness, though, I find that difficult to believe.

The real reason the singing sunshine primitive got mausoleumed?

It was probably some comments made at other campfires on Skins's island.

Deciphering what's going on behind the curtains of Skins's island, well, one needs the skills of a Kremlinologist.

There are new zoo keepers(mods) on the island. What one could have gotten away with last week doesn't mean that one can get away with it this week. Where one mad may favor the Bonobo, another may favor the Chimpanzee.

Good find!  That thread really revealed a lot of the hypocracy among the primitives.

Nice find. The lamblia's destruction is not limited to just outsiders. It also spreads to each other. Can't say I'm surprised, but one down is one down. :fuelfire:
