A Florala woman was jailed Tuesday on reckless endangerment charges after she allegedly left open gas containers throughout the house “because she liked the smell.â€
Chief Sonny Bedsole said officer Chris Jackson was responding to a disturbance report at the North Sixth Street home when he noticed the odd smell throughout the home of Juliana Bryant, 33.
“Officer Chris Jackson responded to the home, and inside, found an open container of gas,†Bedsole said. “When questioned, she said she liked the smell of it.†...

She wanted to go out in "a blaze of glory".

Oooh, the thought if that happening gives me the vapours.

Any resulting fire would've left her insolvent.
-
And "Great Balls of Fire" was on the radio . . .

If not, someone at her insurance company needs to be fired.

I agree, if she got any $$, someone should definitely be canned.

Wierd here as we woman know the more we smell something, like perfume the less we smell it. Others may smell it but we who wear perfume become unable to smell it, so we add more and knock people off their feet from all that smell.
We get used to smells if the kitty litter needs to be changed we may not notice but a visitor will know.
So this woman liked the smell of gasoline, it seems strange that after awhile she would even notice it in her home.

Get with the program, Vesta. There's supposed to be a pun in your reply. Maybe I need to light a fire under your ass??
It all just seems so "fuelish" to me........

Hey Thor, Chill Out...
No need to be fuming over there.
:-)

Things are starting to get volatile.
Vesta sorta reminds me of Ethyl, as in, "Fill 'er up with ethyl." She's got somewhere to go, but no idea how to get there and how much it'll take.

Yeah, that could be a premium amount.

Who knows, she may have wanted to start a relationship, and was just looking for that first spark.

These jokes pump large amounts of high octane excitement into this thread. I can feel it.

Not that badly surely? I thought it matched the quality of the others.

yep....it was definitely not premium...

We could always ask Ronsol.
-
perhaps she was using the smell to remind her of the beach....like seaShell's

Low octane level...

I'm still having trouble distilling the premium comedy in this thread from the crude remarks. :fuelfire:
(get the smiley application: fuel-fire :rimshot:)

A Deepwater analysis of this particular woman results in more and more sludge as this thread progresses.
Well, I must say, it's probably time to pipe down and sea just how wacko this woman is, whether bp or not bp.
-
This thread is burning me up with laughter!!
(I guess that Vesta didn't like my pun about "lighting a fire".........Perhaps she's fuming over my remarks.) :(

Nah, no problem with you Thor, I just cannot understand how anyone for any reason would want to keep potential bombs in their home unless they had some explosive issues.
-
Ugh....Leaded balloon for sure.
-
I'd say this thread is about to pun out of gas.
-
Or perhaps just disappear into the ether.

Yeah, you refined it nicely. 87 or 93?

Maybe just a boost of octane will do it?
-
These replies have sure been a gas to read

Spend some reading the DUmp forum...eventually you will understand...

Did someone mention pumping Ethyl? Is she hot?

Maybe some nitro or MTBE?

Not really. Ever since they took the lead out, she's been in the tank.

Really? I heard with a bit of sparkin' on....she'd burst into flames..

That was the problem. She wouldn't wait until the pistons were at top dead center in their cylinders, she'd go ahead and let the coil fire regardless.
That lead to a lot of backfiring through the intake manifold.
There's only so much of that a guy can take. :rotf:
(Uh....is this one goin' to the Short Bus? _

You can also get those symptoms if your injector pumps to much and out of synch. :-)

Come on people, we knows she has to live alone with no old men in the house.
Just one good rip roaring fart from an old man would below the roof off the house.

Igniting controvesy as usual, eh Vesta? You have to admit that this thread is a blast.
It was brave of the cop to charge right in, though, considering the potential ar-son consequences.
Will it go out with a bang? Or will it just be a shell of itself near its end? Well, I'll try not to fuse about it.

Does look like we've got a tiger in the tank.

Not to be serious or anything....but I wonder if the drywall would absorb the fumes like it does meth fumes? If it would, it would make the house an explosion waiting to happen.

She was trying to ward off those pesky Injun spirits.
