Poll question: How will you feel if Obama and Congress extend the Bush Tax Cuts for people earning > $250,000??
I assume Obama will keep the tax cuts for those earning < $250,000. But what if they also extend the Bush tax cuts for those earning more than $250,000.....
Poll result (132 votes)
I will understand, because it is bad to raise any taxes during a recession. (1 votes, 1%) Vote
I will not be happy, but will try to trust their judgement. (2 votes, 2%) Vote
I will be extremely upset and it will effect my support of the Dems for the 2012 election. (111 votes, 84%) Vote
Other...... (18 votes, 14%) Vote
1 DUmmie gets it so far (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x8781883)
Almost all economists believe raising taxes would be bad during this recession.
We all know the majority are lying about extending the tax cuts affecting their support of DemonRats.

You assume incorrectly. Show me where ANY legislation has been introduced to do just that. Between that and the increase in my medical insurance, I'm looking at taking home about $150-200 LESS per biweekly paycheck come January.
Suck it, ****tards.

It's really up to Congress, Obama can only ask...and Congress seems to be steering completely clear of either reinstating them across the board, or selectively reinstating them for certain income classes, since on the either way it's as poisonous politically as reversion to the old tax rates are poisonous economically. Obama may be screwed by his buddies on this one.

Notice how they've avoided any mention of it. But what's pissing me off is that the GOP isn't making an issue of this.

Where's the budget?

Where's the budget?
It was deemed to be passed, so they didn't need it in writing, or something like that.

Wait, WHAT?! I thought the Bush tax cuts were for the rich ONLY. Now I'm being told differently??
:lmao:
DUmmies hate when the truth has to come out.
Wonder how they feel about O'bama now being FORCED to admit that making people purchase insurance is, in fact, a tax.
DUmmies .... how's that "If you make less than $250k I can promise you won't see one dime of increase in ANY tax" thing working for ya?
KC

I think that's what people mean when they use the word 'Overpromising.'

But, Obama rejected the notion that it was a tax. :lmao:
