Title: Harry Reid Loses the Dead Vote

As Jim Geraghty put it, “Man, you know it’s a tough year for Democrats when they can’t even rely on the dead vote.” It seems one of Harry Reid’s longtime supporters has urged everyone to vote for someone else, from her grave. No, I’m not kidding.

Charlotte McCourt was an 84 year old Nevada woman who was once a vociferous supporter of Harry Reid, and helped in his election bids. She wasn’t a big name fundraiser who bundled thousands of dollars, or a kingmaker of the Democratic party. In fact, she was just a homemaker, but a homemaker who cared enough to be active – to volunteer and help Reid get elected.

Not anymore.

In Charlotte McCourt’s obituary it said, “We believe that Mom would say she was mortified to have taken a large role in the election of Harry Reid to U.S. Congress. Let the record show Charlotte was displeased with his work. Please, in lieu of flowers, vote for another more worthy candidate.”

Someone better check the voting records in Nevada come November, I’m pretty sure the Democrats will find some way for Charlotte to change her mind and vote for Harry Reid anyway, despite the whole not being alive thing.

I agree with the writer, her vote will still go to Reid, as will the votes of many more of the dead.

All I am allowed to disclose here is that the VRWC is a great admirer of Dr. Frankenstein's work.

we may have screwed up here.  reid ran a gazillion dollars to kill the "establishment candidate", and we elected angle, who has promptly lost a 20 point lead.

the rino looks pretty good right now
