1. I expect our congresscritters to vote on a resolution to condemn this.
If it is good enough for MoveOn, it is good enough for the tea baggers.

4. Move on is considered liberal.
They won't dare apply the same standards.

Why should they apologize?  DU compared Bush to every nefarious, evil person in history including Hitler on a daily basis for eight years... where's your apology, chumps?

...As well as the chimpanzee poster, which DU thought was hi-laaaar-ious.  Shitheads that they are.

And the "postage stamp" with a picture of Bush with a gun to his head.  That was high comedy at the DUmp for weeks.

Basically 'Speaking truth to power' loses almost all of its appeal for them when their side becomes the one in power, then suddenly it's sedition and treason.

They should have used the Obama/Moose-a-leany picture.

How much do billboards cost???

I would love to see that around here. The libs would be apoplectic. It would need a 24/7 guard our libs are nothing if not destructive.

Nothing wrong with that billboard at all, unless the truth hurts.

The hippies in Boulder would be swerving off the road if they saw that.  THAT would make it worth the price.

There's a local HVAC company that has an enormous billboard (http://taxingtennessee.blogspot.com/2008/02/interstate-ac-service-in-nashville-tn-i.html) up along I-40 and they regularly put little jabs and pokes at liberals on it.  Something this blatant would get it burned down around here.

First thing I do when I win the Powerball...put it up on all the heavy traffic areas on I-95, in Portsmouth, Dover, and Durham.

You mean like the "General Betray-US" ad MoveOn.org bought in the NY Times a couple of years back--the one that more people saw than would EVER see that billboard?  The one where they NYT gave them the maximum discount?

The one they recently tried to "scrub" from their website?

Minnesota businessmen put this up in February - and it's still up - I just rode past it a couple of weeks ago.

I parked behind a car with a bumper sticker that said "Is it 2012 yet?"  No context at all but the only one I can think of is giving Lord Zero the boot.  I suppose it could be some anti-human lefty wishing for the death of human-kind in some sort of apocalyptic prophecy but I don't know...

I remember hearing all the nasty, distasteful comments about that billboard. Right next to my state, too. I hope they keep it up until the mess Obama made/is making is fully cleaned up.

Sign will be up for decades.

I just came back from that part of the country.  I would have loved to have seen that billboard.

I did see another one that made me guffaw.  Interstate 29 southbound, north of St. Joseph, is a huge blue billboard with the word "NARCISSIST" in bold yellow letters. :lmao:

I've seen a couple of "1.20.2013--End of an Error" bumper stickers around here.  This is NYS, in the Albany area, which is seriously blue, but has a fair amount of red around it (especially where I live).

Going through the parking lot at work I see a plethora of those, along with the, "I'll keep my guns, money, and FREEDOM--you can keep the "change"!"

I'm seeing fewer and fewer Obammy stickers of late, and more of the, "How's that hopey/changey thing working for you?" type of stickers.

Early on in zero's reign, a Harley dealer here put up a billboard on his property which faced the interstate.  I can't recall exactly the wording, but it was anti-Obama.  People couldn't believe the cajones on the guy.  More people are feeling their oats as we go along.

I don't understand what they're upset about.  The billboard says "DEMOCRAT", not "democratic, which always puts them in a funk.  I'd think they'd be happy.  There's just no pleasing some people.

Unfortunately, the National Tea Party Association denounced the billboard:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100713/ap_on_re_us/us_iowa_obama_billboard_3
Quote
"That's just a waste of money, time, resources and it's not going to further our cause," said Shelby Blakely, a leaders of the Tea Party Patriots, a national group. "It's not going to help our cause. It's going to make people think that the tea party is full of a bunch of right-wing fringe people, and that's not true."

F-you Blakely, we put up with the Democrats equating President Bush with Hitler and Christians with Nazis for EIGHT FRACKING YEARS. Turn-around beotich!

Yeah, It's not our fault that the first black president was a whore hopping loser and the second black president was a DUmbass commie.

Wouldn't surprise me.  Guys like Harley dealers (snowmobile, ATV, dirt bikes being right there as well) are the first and hardest hit when the economy goes to hell.  We had a Harley dealer open up in my town in 2007.  Did great for the first year or so.  Today?  Not so much.

According to AP, they have taken it down. The N Iowa Tea Party requested it be taken down and the owners of the sign have done so.

Can not question the 'won'.

The best part is this,Des Moines is probably one of the more liberal parts of the state cinsidering the local State paper and colleges there.

It ain't nothing like the liberal mecca of Johnson Country (Iowa City).  The burbs in the Des Moines area have grown so much that they're making liberal Des Moines less relevant, which is very good news.
