GSTAAD, Switzerland -- In a stunning ruling, Roman Polanski was declared a free man yesterday -- no longer confined to house arrest in his Alpine villa after Swiss authorities rejected a United States request for his extradition because of a 32-year-
old sex conviction.
The decision left the director free to return to France and the life of a celebrity, albeit one unable to visit the US.
"Mr. Polanski can now move freely," Swiss Justice Minister Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf declared. "He's a free man."

Fine, if they want a pedophile roaming free there, then let them. That worked well for so many others. Look at how well it worked for Gary Glitter.

That sick bastard. Oh well, I am confident he will continue to mail in his absentee ballot for Democrat candidates on time.

Posted on some statue in a port in the European Union.
"Give me your rich, your famous, your pampered, your sleaze balls yearning to be pedophiles........."

It's just too bad that a person can't take Justice into their own hands.......

Hm-m-m...I wonder if the Swiss would extradite us.

Most of you are missing the forest for the trees...
The Swiss gov't stood up to the US gov't again... This is a HUGE win for the Swiss, and frankly, anyone who has a bank acc't there...

You are reading WAY too much into this. It is more sucking up to France and the liberal elite.

Polanski is a sicko. He should have been in jail LONG ago. He won. And it sickens me.

Can someone explain to me why Hollywood and the left hate Mel Gibson for his spoken words, but are willing to forgive Polanski?

You'd probably have to go to DU to have that question answered. I'm not sure that anybody here is quite so idiotic as to even formulate a response to that, much less answer the question.
