14. How about the Bushes?
Don't tell me that these two guys worked for their money. At least Clinton and Gore are intelligent people who worked for their money. Most of the money came from books and in Gores case a movie. Old man Bush inherited money from the Chinese opium trade. Clinton started out poor. Young Bush never did an honest days work in his life. Should I tell you about his investment in the Ballpark?
Distract with old lies and stories.

Try Bootlegging.
It never fails to amaze me how one side will attack and expect the other to just role over.
If you think anyone believe's the Kennedy Clan is without sin, you're quite mistaken.

The genius of the DUmp in the face of facts on display.
On and on with excuses why they are okay but others should be condemned.
Pitiful.

Amazingly enough, I first heard of the Kennedy Family fortune being based on bootlegging in my senior year in high school, from my American History teacher no less.

No they don't actually, but don't let facts get in the way, oh and let's discuss Al Gore's get rich quick scam known as Globull Warming :bird: :

Conspicuous Charity
Excerpts:
Vice President Dick Cheney's 2005 tax return showed he had a family income of $8.8 million.
Significantly less-frequently reported last year was this datum: Mr. and Mrs. Cheney gave 78% of their 2005 income to charity
While the Cheneys might look like elite philanthropists, Mr. and Mrs. Bush were no charitable slouches either. Foursquare tithers, they gave away 12.2% of their adjusted gross income in 2005, and similar percentages in past years. Their giving tends to go to more middle-class causes, including their church, the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army.
How does the current administration compare with the previous one? In 1999, the Clintons gave away a solid 9.4% of their income, while the Gores gave 5.1%. Two years earlier, however, the former vice president's giving had earned some special attention. In 1997, the Gores only gave away $353 of their income of $197,729, or 0.18%. Mr. Gore's spokesman deflected criticism by pointing out that, "To truly judge a person's commitment to helping others, you need to consider what they have done with their lives and how they have spent their time

22. I have no problem with successful people.
Edited on Sat Jul-10-10 08:18 PM by RandomThoughts
I have a problem that reach some status while hurting other people, and call that success.
They got it backwards.
That is also why so many musicians are so great, they just share music, and there thoughts and feelings.
Wow what brainwashing!

Don't forget the ninja assassination ring, selling warhorses to Attila The Hun, and the thumbscrew concession they had during the Inquisition.

122. What means 'exclusive?' Overused, imo.
Not 'gated,' right? Expensive, yes, as is most of Westchester.
Also, beautiful.
Who needs "gated" when you've got the Secret Service 24/7?

78. Good for him! He always says that he doesn't want or need the Bush tax cut.
I have no problem with people being rich, as long as they give back to the community.
Bill travels to third world countries and teaches them how to grow their own food, to sell their wares.
...and can vegetables for the winter, and weave cloth from hemp fiber, and fix a broken wagon wheel, and...

7. Oh boy
They are self-made folks and, just like with Oprah, I don't give a **** what they buy for themselves.
Self made? That sounds suspiciously like the Freeperish "pull yourself up by your bootstraps." Seems like I remember you DUmmies saying no one is ever self-made, that no one would ever get anywhere without help from from the community or government, and that "self-made" is a myth.

That's Doug's stupid ex-wife, the #03 top primitive last year, and in preceding years among the top 20.
By chance and accident, I got to know her as well as the back of my hand.
-
Huh? please tell me this woman isn't being serious, does she read the posts at DU?
She,like all the primitives posts to the thread with no regard for any previous statements.
It is part of a going along with the crowd thing to get praised as well as the need for a DUmmy/leftist to not remember an iota of history whether it is their own or the nations.
History has a nasty habit of showing them to be the most idiotic fools to have ever been spawned.

Before he fell out of favor, the DUmbasses rationalized the manse that John Edward built. There wasn't a single complaint about the size of the place. When it was reported in some rag that Edwards neighbors were upset, they called the neighbors every name in the book.
Hypocrites all.

John Kerry?
He made his money marrying some scrunt who inherited it from a dead husband.
He married for money twice. He's not an amateur.

Al Gore made his money from a movie? Do these misfits even know who this man is?

I would need to see a link also to any thread on FR where they begrudge anyone for wealth earned.

I still don't believe that Hillary legitimately turned $10K into $100K all by her self.
-
I would like to nominate stupid Beth hypocrite of the year for this post, as well as for sticking up for CPig's horrifying treatment of the homeless.
-
Y'know, it doesn't bother me at all that someone does not give much to charity, it's a free country and that's a personal choice. However I must note that the DUmmies are truly stupid if they think Clinton, Gore, and even Obama came up from nothing.
