Chain reps confirm that the home of the “Six Dollar Burger†is testing a foot-long cheeseburger in some restaurants. The funny-looking meat sandwich has been spotted at this Orange County restaurant: 1943 E. 17th Street in Santa Ana. (Note: This is the same restaurant that tested the Grilled Cheese Bacon Burger before it rolled out in stores across the country.)
The regular “Footlong Cheeseburger†sells for $4; the deluxe version (with lettuce and tomato) cost $4.50.
When I got my hands on the 12-inch burger, the first thing I noticed is that part of the wrapper stuck out of the to-go bag. Now, that’s a long burger.

I'm just not a fan of Carl's Jr. I refuse to eat their fries, and their burgers are only so-so.
-
The last time I was there, I ordered what I thought was one of their six-dollar burgers and only got a regular 1/4-lb cheeseburger. I thought they had gotten rid of those entirely.
-
Nah, they just ripped you off.
Besides, why would ANYONE do Carl's Jr. in SoCal when they could have In-N-Out or The Hat, or any of 100 other places?
Oh, and 17th Street, Santa Ana? Don't go down there with anything you'd miss, like your car, wallet, life...granted, it's not as bad as HARBOR and 17th, but still...

Carl's Jr., known as Hardee's, has the best fast-food burgers...
...in this part of Missouri.
Sigh.
-
That's disgusting.
Who are the people that eat things like that regularly? We have a Carl's Jr right around the corner from us. It's within walking distance.... but so isn't Subway. We always chose Subway.

Jimmy John's is better than Subway.

I don't think we have a Jimmy John's in Las Vegas.
