I was just in my bathroom listening to Rush, and all of a sudden, it sounded like he cut off somehow. I thought to myself: Couldn't be! My radio is still working though. Went on my Local AM station site (1310 WIBA) and loaded the stream. Low and behold, it isn't working either. I'm thinking it's either the radio station, or Rush's plug was pulled. This has never...EVER happened before.
What's going on?

Don't know about where you are....but here the radio station Rush is on was to change it's position....sometime this week...maybe it was today?
It's been 100.3 for years, and it's moving to 98.8 or somewhere close to that.

Works for me. I'm listening to my local station's online stream.

Well, it's good for me now, but I didn't hear anything about a change of station. It's pretty much been on the same AM station here for as long as I can remember. It was gone for a good 5 minutes. That kind of thing worries me.

No need to worry.
I seriously doubt Obama would send FCC to storm Rush's studio.
Although if Obama gets a 2nd term...

Maybe not blatantly like that, but in this day and age, I'm not sure what could happen anymore.

I'm streaming out of NYC on the ABC network, as my local station doesn't have a stream. I went to streaming online because the local guys have a real habit of being asleep at the wheel. That shit happens all the time!
Besides, I bet ABC just hates the fact he's the best breadwinner when it comes to advertising dollars over the radio! Heh, heh!

Dead air happens. The FCC gets upset when it does, as do the listeners.......
